Ooof, that’s a lot of work to improve the overall sound quality. Why not just start with a better base?
It was not a priority for me... just a fun project. (And, actually, the sound quality was a side-effect; I was more interested in being able to have a conversation with people in the back while on the highway.) I started with the hatch, as it's the source or a TON of road noise, is easily accessible, and can be done in a Saturday afternoon. After that, I just kind of went down the rabbit hole section by section, as I was impressed with the results. The car will never be a Lexus, but it doesn't feel like a rattle trap anymore, either. And, to quote @UWU-mancer, it still "fucks like a porn star."

You can realistically do this in 2-3 weekends. It's not that bad. I spend most of my life hitting buttons on a keyboard and working in digital environments, and I find doing something "material" in my free time is fulfilling; sometimes the process is the reward.

Cheers to that. I'm constantly looking for things to wrench on or mod. I mean I *could* take up crocheting or something but cars are more fun. Albeit a little pricey...

That’s fair and apologies, I guess I misunderstood your intent.

I also added killmat in the rear hatch and under the rears seats. It made a noticeable difference but not enough for me to prioritize doing the rest of the car.

Nothing to apologize for! I would be among the first to recommend a different car if stereo / acoustics and comfort are a priority. I definitely understand the comment.

Hit a huge platoon of deer in a pink Chevy tracker. Again. But this time there was no snow or ice involved. Also argued f16 vs f18 with the cop.

Did some.lught wrenching today.. installed the Wunderladen strut locking washers so that the struts don't shift when I'm removing the nuts for the strut tower bar or if I need to access the battery.
Acura Integra What did you do to your Integra Type S today? 🙋🏻‍♂️ IMG_20260504_174815

Is it easy for the struts to shift when the nuts are removed when the car’s on the ground? I remember the dealer was concerned with removing my strut bar to replace the battery and messing up the alignment.

If you're maxed out on factory camber with the pins removed it shouldn't be an issue. However if you're dialed in to a specific setting, it could be a problem. The wheels would want to naturally camber in more when the nuts are off.

Still playing catch-up, flashed a couple weekends ago, I flashed to Phearable Stage 2, got metrics on my infotainment via Autolinkr/Android this past weekend.
Installed a PRL engine mount & inlet today.

I beg to differ :)
I didn’t do nearly as much as you did (kudos btw, your work is truly impressive), and it still took me quite a while (well, taking, I'm not finished). My point is: this will take much longer than people tend to expect.
Q: any concerns installing CCF inside the doors? I’m wondering whether it might make future maintenance more difficult.

I've had to open up my doors two more times since doing mine. I specifically did mine on the door card because the first attempt on the foam vapor barrier resulted in it tearing significantly.

It's funny, can't even count how many cars I've owned and this is the second I've opened the door card on... Also the one I've opened 5-6 times.

I got new vapor barriers and adhesive, but CCF seems like a much-much easier approach, so I’m not sure which way to go.
