How do you like the exhaust? I kind of want to swap my AWE for an Apexi..
I love it, and am perfectly happy with the volume. The tone isn’t perfection but nothing really is on a 4-cylinder turbo car. There’s really nothing I’d change about the exhaust - it’s sensibly subdued in Comfort mode, and very noticeable yet not obnoxious in Sport+.

How's the drone? I imagine there has to be a little bit.

I said good bye to my ITS today and got into an M2. Surprisingly the insurance is cheaper… I have a few parts listed for sale and will add the Mugen knob I just got as well as cusco strut bar.

Say hello to my little friend

Interesting move. The rattles and build quality annoyances have been starting to get to me too and I had been considering moving to an M240.

installed schroth quick fit pro harness for ford focus g3. Nice option for those that want a harness without a full roll cage or harness bar.

I referenced these sites while researching:

-CivicX HPDE Harness
-CivicX 4-Point Harness without Bar
-CivicX 4-point harness for track days or more seat security

purchased from evasive motorsports:
-Product Link

really happy with it, I feel glued to the recaro seat. I am aware of and fully accept all risks warned by schroth by using this harness with this seat and this car

If anyone decides to go this route, I have pointers and tips to help with the installation process, which wasn’t too bad but lessons-learned always helps

If I could still get heated seat functionality with those seats I’d buy them in a heartbeat.

I recently went through that "honeymoon is over" phase too... and ended up just circling back to the acknowledgement that there is truly no better option than the ITS for my specific circumstance.

Conveniently enough, my favorite YouTuber for ITS content @Zygrene looks he had a similar epiphany.

Especially with rumors circulating about some of the upcoming cars coming from Toyota - and just general trends of manufacturers backing down from EV plans - any issues I have with my ITS is not enough to get me to consider anything else on the market today.

Unless you're dealing with some sort of catastrophe-level annoyance or actual lemon, I'd suggest waiting a year or so to see what kind of news develops.

I think ideally for me, completing my "vision" for the car and then waiting to see what happens with the mid-engine ICE MR2 or the next-gen NON-EV Boxster/Cayman is the move. I'm finally getting my Infinity Design intake (and broke down and bought the inlet too...) installed tomorrow, along with the camber correction that should have taken place when I did the springs. All that would be left for me is an exhaust and possibly coilovers, kind of waiting to see what else comes out of the HRC toy box whenever that happens.

I think also that Zygrene video made me finally start considering the possibility of a tune in the future. I've had an AccessPort before on an STI, and honestly it was a pretty good experience overall. Time will tell.

In any case, I don't see myself even considering moving away from this ITS at any point in the foreseeable future. I feel like with my car history, that is about as compelling an endorsement as is reasonably possible.

Very timely - just watched this video too and came to the same conclusion ? given how great this platform is, kind of silly to swap it for another car that serves a similar purpose for myself at least. You'll enjoy the intake - PRL HVI was the first thing I did and made it sound so much cooler.

I have the same exhaust with TSP downpipes and PRL frontpipe. It does drone a little between 2.5-3k in comfort but turning on some music can drown it out.

To me, it's the best sounding combination for this engine. There is a completely different tone that I don't feel other exhaust share; less midrange rasp.

Finally decided to pull the trigger on a set of Apex ML-10RT's. I've really been feeling some kind of way about them and hope that they look as good on the car as I think they will. I went with 18x10 and 275/35 conti's. They should be arriving sometime this week or early next week..

These seats do come with their own heat switch; however, the heated seat button on the dash isn’t used anymore, it’s a rocker switch on the seat itself, below the seat cushion and requires extra wiring, but I got it to work with no issues

Pulled off the wheel to plug the tire. There is another one on my driver side because I can hear the tap dance.

I did snap a photo of the sirimoto rear line since I had the wheel off.
Where did you source your caliper paint? It seems to be a good match.
