If you save on sales tax with a trade, factor that in. In NC, you only pay tax on the difference between the trade and the car you're purchasing. Like if you can get close to that with a dealer trade it may be worthwhile.

Maybe not an upgrade over the PS4S, but so far I'm very happy with the 275/30 Conti Extreme contact 02's. Little bit more sidewall, little bit wider, 340 TW, but maybe don't need as much heat as the cup 2's? It's an option if you want 275's without going 35 sidewall.

I haven't experienced this I don't think. I guess it depends on RPM's as far as engine braking goes. If you are accelerating briskly, then abruptly let off throttle at like 4 or 5k RPM's, then yes, lots of engine braking. I haven't experienced anything negative or unexpected though.
