Neither. It was delivered painted Liquid Carbon Metallic. Shading affects the color in the pics. The install was quite straightforward. I took my time and kept checking the position. It fits very well.

No, it just fit very well. I spent quite a bit of time checking fit and positioning before I took the the tape off the 3M tape.

Thank you. I’ve seen this thread before. It’s what makes me want to try something less than a new high durometer RMM. Hopefully someone has tried it. The cost is trivial, it’s just a matter of taking it apart. Maybe at the next oil change.

Has anyone tried the urethane insert from Whiteline? It seems like it could be a good compromise with regard to not increasing NVH much.
