My dealer quoted me $475 for the part and 2 hrs labor which is another $400 plus tax. I paid half of that to get it in my RDX. Why isn't it included with the heated seats?

Only in Canada it comes with it. I think they also get heated rear seats.

The heated seats and steering wheel do not get very hot, they get barely warm, maybe a cup of hot coffee after it's been sitting for a half hour.

I was considering the heated steering wheel as one of two dealer added accessories.
But it seems like a few people are saying it isn't worth it?
It doesn't get very hot.
Is that the general consensus?
I figured, in a 52k$ car, I want a heated steering wheel, I have never had heated seats or wheel, I live where we have winters for 3 to 4 months and it gets very cold, snows etc...
So, it would be nice to have that added comfort in a car at this price point.

As cold as it gets here, after you start the car, then shovel it out and clear it off, it is cold and wet, your hands are freezing, it would be nice to get in a pre-heated car, with warm seats and wheel after all that.
It doesn't have to be "hot" just warm.

Speaking of warm, have you seen the shifter hoodies?
I thought that was funny, maybe they need a heated shifter option? LOL j/k
