Be careful as if water short the connections, you might not be able to drive your car as the whole network won't work.
Saw this in a post on the forum when someone got water in a broken headlight.
Your first paragraph: Yes, this happens to me almost every time I floor the car or I accelerate more "brutally" than usual.
Your third paragraph: You'll need more than a quick drive in your neighbourhood to do a drive cycle and clear the code. Unless you drive much, and in different conditions...
Just to remind people that these headlights cost, what, more than 2k $?
And also that if there is water getting inside after opening up and resealing the headlight, your car might just not even start. Some people, after an accident, had that problem...
So for me, the risks and money lost of...
No spare sits flush in the trunk in the ITS, appart from the BMW one that you need to modify.
There are two spare tires thread in the ITS forums. They show all available spare intallation you can do.
Had my windshield replaced by same glass as OEM, but not bought from the dealer. And I was the same HUD distortion (looks blurry as if I needed glasses). But as soon as I move my head just a little bit down, it seems OK. Seems to me that the glass placement i very, very important on the ITS and...
If you want to have a more direct clutch, you can also remove the clutch damper and slave cylinder delay valve.
It helps a lot.
But does nothing about rev hang though.
As a note, I've been using 91 since the beginning because it is what I can find around where I live.
Always had the pops and bangs, so using 91 shouldn't cause any problem.
Use a scan tool to check for codes. Might be a pending code with no CEL; still, you would loose the pops and bangs.
Clear code and they'll come back right away.
As said before, your engine temp needs to be at 4 bars.
My TLX-S is urban grey.
Looks matte, but when the sun is out, the grey become super sparkling.
It's a really nice color. Looks good on the ITS, as it looks on the TLX!
Depends on what you are used to. The traction control is way less intrusive on the ITS than on my old 05 Accord or 14 Fit. So depends on your past experiences I guess.
A bit weird, but I'm starting considering this mod. My goal would be to make the car more comfortable. Roads are really bad here, and the stock Comfort setting is a bit harsh for long drives...
Any benefits for me with the module?
The ITS replaced a 2005 Accord 6-6. My wife drives the ITS most of the time as she works close from home. The TLX replaced a 2014 Honda Fit, that I used to go to work in traffic. At one point, I really got tired of the rough ride of the Fit. Wanted a CTR for myself, but with all the traffic, the...
Going to 20" wheels on the ITS will give you less tire meat. Way more chances of screwing up a wheel. Don't think it would be a good idea.
But in the spring, when I change tires, I could check since I have both cars.
