  1. Bad PPF install?

There are usually a few spots to fix on a follow up visit, but that is pretty terrible. Obviously a low effort, rushed job.
  2. Got rid of my 2025 already

375-400 hp is the sweet spot for the Type R/S. If I had to go back to stock, I'd be bored.
  3. 99 Acura Integra GSR trim pieces needed

That's the car that made me love driving. Hope you can find what you need and get the car looking good again. Every once in a while I browse around to see if there are any decent GS-R's for sale but it seems like there are very few of them left.
  4. Just got Phearable stage 2 tuned - rev hang is still there... :-(

@JesterTuned tune here, and I'd unscientifically say mine feels reduced by 75%. Not gone, but I don't even think about it anymore. On stock tune it bugged me pretty bad. I'm not sure that he does anything other than change that single setting though.
  5. DIY oil change, how are you lifting your car?

For just an oil change I like ramps. Seems like having the car tilted back will allow more oil to drain. Maybe, maybe not.
  6. Pondering a TSP built motor next year…..

The Aspec and Si are great cars, they just don't have a good foundation for making big power. If you're not satisfied with the stock performance its better to swap to something different. The juice ain't worth the squeeze. For an affordable FWD manual hatchback that can easily be modded for...
  7. Fender bender repair questions

Oh yeah, whatever you do, DO NOT take your car to a Caliber Collision. It's the Walmart of body shops
  8. Fender bender repair questions

This is what 3100$ looks like not including PPF which I'll find out tomorrow. 2 panels, fender liner, wheel, and door scratches. PPF made mine look better than it is. Im lucky the guy that hit me is paying cash and i know the body shop so this will not end up on my carfax.
  9. Which air filter?

Yep, noise levels: OEM < Sprint < PRL Only reason not to do PRL HVI is if you want one of the 1500-2000 pretty carbon fiber HVI's. Those may or may not require a tune, while PRL is fine on stock tune.
  10. For Sale: TSP Cerakoted OEM Valve Cover- Smoked Bronze

I ordered this when I was absolutely sure I was going to buy some bronze G025 wheels. I didn't end up buying bronze wheels and I got a Spoon valve cover instead. It is a really nice color though. $350 shipped in the lower 48. If you're nervous about installing, I had the honda dealership do my...
  11. Which air filter?

I had the Sprint filter for about 1000 miles before I ended up getting the PRL intake. I chose it over K&N just because I preferred a non oiled filter. Just blow it off with compressed air to clean rather than risk some oil getting sucked in where you don't want it. It made a little more...
  12. DE5 Type S Invidia Q300 install + sound clips

https://www.civicxi.com/forum/threads/apexi-n1-rattle.53614/#post-892981 "The key to this process is to ensure that the spring is set in such a way that it creates pressure against the exhaust valve. However, this pressure should not be directed downward; instead, it should be applied so that...
  13. DE5 Type S Invidia Q300 install + sound clips

I can hear it too. Sounds like the same issue some people have with the A'pexi. If i remember correct its something about how the spring sits when you install. There's a thread on civicxi.com about how to fix it real easy.
  14. UNITY DE5 Build Thread

Adding DP and FP with stock exhaust sounds better than 90% of the aftermarket exhausts.
  15. keAiko18’s LCM ‘24 Type-S

I really love the tone I have right now I just want a little more volume. Your car looks great by the way. Very good taste!
  16. keAiko18’s LCM ‘24 Type-S

Did you ever have just the TSP downpipe and RV6 frontpipe installed with the stock exhaust? That's what I have on my Type R and i was just wondering how much louder the A'pexi makes this combo.
  17. Jester’s Tuning thread

Yes you should. Hondata base map feels unrefined, a Jester tune will have your car feeling silky smooth.
  18. Summer tires, winter weather

My PS4 A/S just passed their first and only real test Friday night driving through sleet /freezing rain in Raleigh. Roads weren't terrible, but I saw numerous other drivers having a rough go of it while I barely noticed any slippage, driving cautiously of course.
  19. Summer tires, winter weather

I have the PS4 A/S 275/35/19 on stock wheels and stock suspension. Great grip and great ride quality with the extra sidewall.
