I figured I'd try this paint because I had it on hand. I don't have high hopes with it but I will experiment with color matches after it takes a little more of a beating in the future. Probably G2 paint or something similar.

Dropped off the car at the dealer this morning. The driver side seatbelt would not retract. I emphasized this is a safety issue. The service advisor was really nice. It just happened he has the same car as mine. So they decided to keep the car so I would not drive it mainly for liability reason. I was given a generic Integra as a loaner. Will report back the cause.

Best diy results I've seen are usually someone pulling the caliper, wire brushing them down, and then using header paint and header clear on them. Not the most durable paint, but it works well on the cheap. G2 is good for finish, but I've found you have to really move fast or just take the calipers off the car to paint in one place. Once g2 starts to set you get tons of brush strokes. I've had okay results with it...looks good from 5ft out.

The best options are to just pull them and send to a powder coater to do it right for street use or full strip and send off to get hard anodized for track use. Or just deal with bear up calipers from swapping pads and wheels so much πŸ€£πŸ™ƒ

Today was sub and sound deadening install. I added kilmat to the spare tire area and the rear hatch sheet metal. The subwoofer setup is JL PowerWedge+ 12” sealed enclosure I had sitting around from another car. It really filled in the lows and let me turn the bass down on the head unit. The sound deadening noticeably reduced exhaust resonance when decelerating.

Went all out with the Jogon carbon dash/gauge cluster and window switch covers. The matte door trim without the memory seat cutout is sold out at the moment, but that’s next (and the new matte cooling plates). I’ve found Jogon to be high quality finish and fitment, elevates the interior quite a bit.
