I'll probably make a post about this once I figure everything out, but I finally got my hands on some FL5 seats. I do have an airbag light.

There is one plug on each side that doesn't line up, so I'm going to look into making adapters.
  • For the driver’s side, it’s the seat position sensor, heater, and seat power on the DE5 and just the seat position on the FL5
  • For the passenger’s side, it’s the seat position sensor, heater, and weight sensor on the DE5 and the seat position and weight sensor on the FL5
Very nice!

Can I ask a small favor, could you measure the interior width bolster to bolster. I have a sneaking suspicion that the reason the ITS seats don't hug people is because they're much wider. I know they are at least and inch wider than my Civic's and that makes all the difference.

I got quite fortunate. There was a driving school in Texas converting a Type R into a race car, so they were gutting the interior and selling all of it.

I paid $1850 plus shipping, but I haven't found them cheaper than $2k on ebay, and that's with blown airbags.

Keep your eyes open for a deal, and be patient! It's so worth it. I love these seats.

Inside, left to right, starting and stopping where the bolster connects to the back.

On my Civic it's 10 inches and on the ITS it's 11 inches. The amount it protrudes is less relevant, my theory is that the it's width that gives the hugging feeling and the average torso is smaller than what the ITS offers.

I can tell you right now it's narrower than the DE5 seat. I will measure tonight and get back to you!

Q300 got delivered today, got straight to buffing off the burnt tips. Not quite my taste lol. Figured it'd be easier to do it before install than to do it after

Now you just need to upgrade that intake to match the rest of the carbon.
i want to to do the infinity design but I already spent money and installed the prl. I heard the infinity design isn't that loud. Which makes me hesitate. If anyone knows if it sounds just as loud as the prl i might! Then i have to get another tune :S

I read a thread on FB recently that said the Infinity wasn’t very loud, but that person didn’t do the inlet tube at the same time…I don’t know why you would do one and not the other, but that might have been why. Others that have commented in the past have said the Infinity (the full system) is loud af. I hope they’re right, cause I’m about to pull the trigger on it.
