My $0.02 for whatever it’s worth - at $35k I could see considering this and accepting whatever risk. At $45k no way. This dealer is in over their skis on this car. Let someone else deal with the potential headaches. Plenty of good examples available in the mid 40’s with way more peace of mind.

Damn. I’m glad you’re ok. I know if that happened to me I would be pretty pissed off. Because much like you, I’d expect a very unreasonable settlement from an adjuster and know I’d also have to go find a replacement ITS.

First, black ITS looks sinister when clean, but I’m biased. search for wastegate rattle and see if that’s what you are hearing. I hear it when off the gas under a certain rpm and it’s like a metallic rattle. It’s normal in this platform.

Went to TOTD Saturday with my son and his friend. I did see another type-S which was PRP. I love that color. It was very busy and I’m not sure I’d ever go back unless it’s a Tuesday or Wednesday. It was fun to experience it once.

That has to be a combo of toe and camber. We have a Durango RT with the tow and go and the factory tires were worn similarly because of the extremely aggressive alignment those things have from the factory.

I’ve notched about a half dozen 10plus hour days driving mine. It’s such a good road trip car.

They aren’t a snow tire, that’s for sure. But I have driven with them in snow and they were acceptable. I have other vehicles to drive if I need to during winter months so I never really gave them a truly solid winter test.

Have the DWS06+ on a Si and also as my cold weather set for my ITS. Really solid tires.

Installed a Latheworks shift knob. Now have this, stock, and a Mugen. The Latheworks is my favorite due to the weight.

I have both actually. And I prefer the hybrid as it’s slightly larger and came with a nice rubber band as opposed to having a zip tie.

That is really cool.
