Bros. The other day. High af on pain killers. I started trying to calculate body roll at 1G. But I kept it at 5% steering wheel input so we could keep as much caster out of this bullshit as possible. I basically made it a very long fast sweeping turn with a slow curve

the math was easier this way

doing this tho. It gave me a super excellent understanding of the dual axis. The bitch is an upside down double wishbone that is not a double wishbone. It’s ghetto but pretty damn inventive. U know how the upper wishbone is always shorter to pull in the wheel and tire? See what I’m saying? If not, turn it upside down bro. Then in reverse/backwards, see? In your head!

any who. In that scenario. We go slightly positive camber in comfort. We stay a hair negative in sport. And a bit more negative in sport plus

the same scenario with crazy steering input. Like 10% 20% and 25%, the caster is dirty in every single driving mode. We stay negative.

I then factored for 200tw tires by adding more body roll. Everything kinda fell apart unless you can add steering effort so caster could save the day, best to stay in sport plus too

then. In my high stupor. I started texting @Victorofhavoc and I have no idea if I even articulated my findings well. I remember sending a link to some ball joints tho.

I forgot where I was going with this. Fuck, yeah. So the ball joints. Any added nvh? Havoc gave me a few warnings too put was high and don’t remember them. For the sake of respecting his time I don’t wanna text em and make em feel like his time was disrespected. 😂

Edit: I also found out we get more camber per positive degree of caster at 25% steering wheel effort vs a macpherson and BMW’s double joint thingy

Never in the military; was a mechanic for 10 years, but I have pulled the ECU at least 4 times now, never batted an eye or thought twice about it.

I never even put two and two together thinking about the service of the filter. I am lazy myself, I might have to look at a different intake if that's the case.
I really only mentioned the military because I've met some of the dumbest mfers in there and despite that fact, it was hardly an issue.

Lmfao

My point was just stiffer bushings means more nvh. I hated the rmm being stiffer so it came off, but I also frequently take off, creep, and roll up and down the driveway using zero throttle. Ymmv.

It’s been 2k miles. So knocked out my oil change

holy crap. It straight up smelled like gasoline. It didn’t even have a small scent of oil. Just smelled like straight gas. Is this freaking normal for this car? I know I’ve read about fuel dilution but damn, previous oil changes didn’t smell of gas so strong before

to be fair I do do a lot of short trips. Maybe that’s it?

Something that keeps the oem lines the fins are slightly larger than the oem rear diffuser.
Are these from Jogon? I had asked them if they were considering a diffuser option and suggested they just do the sides when they indicated they were hesitant to produce such a large piece.

Actually sent them this half-assed example, lmao:
Acura Integra What did you do to your Integra Type S today? 🙋🏻‍♂️ IMG_6501

Short trips can make it smell like gas, but it's no more dramatic than other di cars.

Send that off for an oil analysis! Having basic bloodwork tells you more than anyone on a forum 😉.

No too late bro. I used a torch to try and set it on fire (lived in Florida enough to allow those peoples fuckery to rewire me). Didn’t catch fire but I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t make for a good sample

definitely sending the next one. Still got one black stone bottle in the garage
