This is what they told me also when they mocked the exhaust up on my car. Curiously, they also used my car to fit the 3" exhaust for the HRC prototype before it was showcased. I guess they went 3" all the same for the higher power output cases?

I complained about rattles on mine, the service advisor questioned me for an hour, then I took the tech out for a drive. Then they called me at the end of the day to tell me that it's because of my Borla exhaust and that the excess vibrations are causing the rattle. F*cking waste of time...

Tomica makes the FL5 and it's fairly easy to get one. I was on the hunt for a DE5 but being US only (at the time) it wasn't in the cards. Maybe now that the DE5 is coming to Japan they'll make one also.

Yeah, for all intents and purposes, our fuel prices here in the US is relatively low compared to a lot of other countries. But we are also pretty spread out and rely more on commuting/driving than a lot of those countries.

It's not a zero sum game; both can be true at the same time. Prices going up for what some believe is an unnecessary reason is still a valid concern. Plenty here can afford a lot, but it's not like we love paying more for things.

I was in a parking garage in Santa Barbara this weekend and going down the corkscrew was a bit nervewracking because I was worried I'd rash the wheels. Must've felt horrible when you did it, but at least you got that protection package. That wasn't even offered to me when I bought mine.

This right here. Dealerships will more than likely try to find a way to connect it to your aftermarket parts and then it's going to depend on how far you'll take it. I've had this experience at two different dealerships (exhaust so swapping it to stock for dealer visits is super inconvenient)...

Just go back to your old wheels, I love CEs but the 19" APEXs looked better IMO. I know you are more track focused though so I get that part.

Ouch. glad it wasn't anything worse than that though. The rear cameras are a godsend but when I back into my garage, I still stop every few feet or so to do a deliberate and thorough scan for my 2 yr old to make sure he hasn't come out the door and ran out behind my car.
