One of my guys just got out of the hospital too, he went in because he felt some "slight pressure" next to his heart. They admitted him for 2 days; high cholesterol and all that. We should start a Type S sub group since we all kind of fall in the same age range where that type of stuff starts to sneak up on you. Instead of stage 2 tunes we would talk about stage 2 hypertension and high triglycerides instead of high boost.

I think you might need to remove the rear side-curtain airbags, which means removing the rear seat cushion. It's not actually that big of a deal, maybe 5 bolts and two wiring harnesses. I put some instructions and pics for the rear seats and airbags in this thread (obviously you probably don't need to take the whole hatch are apart, just steps 5 and 6):

It's not a question of not knowing how to do it, the mounting brackets for the seat belts on the CTR are different on the ITS, so the rears don't work with out a bunch of modifications. The fronts were identical. I really don't want to mess with or try and modify safety items, trying to figure out an alternative to get them installed.

I got a set of belts on ebay, not exactly sure what the part numbers are.

I needed to change my oil so I did that and finally PRL rear engine mount on, as well as the WOT cooling plate under tray thing

Anyone running the kuro? If so, how laggy is it at part throttle vs stock? Seems like it’ll hold boost till 7k rpm too, is that right? How’s build quality?

im interested in it because it appears to be the most responsive option. I don’t want something so laggy it’ll make part throttle driving boring. I dont care if it increases my hp. I’d try to etune it down to maybe 370-380wtq (according to the dyno my type s has been frequenting since it hit its first 1k miles). I just like how much more meat would be in the mid and top end.

That was the other option I was considering. Getting all the hoses to fit during install was tough and I didn’t want to deal with that again. Maybe I will try that next time. Either way, they should make a new version where you don’t need to remove a bunch of stuff to change the filter!

I'm planning on just taking the ECU out as well come time for me to service the filter. I don't know why people are so scared to take it out - we had multi-pin connectors in the military and as long as you're not a complete moron, you shouldn't have any issues.

That's the first aftermarket wing for our car that I actually like.

I'd do it if there was a way to plug the holes from the decklid spoiler though. I think it looks silly to have both on there at the same time.

It looks like it replaces the decklid spoiler with their own lower section. But, yeah, if it's held on by 3M tape, I'm not interested. Their other duckbill spoiler comes with bolts, though, so I'm optimistic.

I am lazy. And it’s fucking stupid since the assholes at prl should’ve figured another way. For fucks sake, Cobb and infinity seem to think things through at least. Changing the intake filter shouldn’t take longer than 120 seconds.

I was in the army myself. To be fair, any asshole could do that. And any asshole can pull this ecu. Super simple. But dammit why the fuck couldn’t these people think ahead?!

Oh I didn't even notice that - wasn't paying close enough attention.

Never in the military; was a mechanic for 10 years, but I have pulled the ECU at least 4 times now, never batted an eye or thought twice about it.

I never even put two and two together thinking about the service of the filter. I am lazy myself, I might have to look at a different intake if that's the case.
