man the 2026 automotive landscape is bleak indeed lol speaking of the STi returning as a EV shitbox, who here has seen the new RSX? Man, me and Honda are not on speaking terms anymore LOL
funnily enough they kept my car overnight so they can work on it as soon as the part arrives and they gave...
i didn't really want to say it, but on the back of this comment I will: Honda used to be known for being cheap, and reliable- and it's neither of those things anymore. i think all cars from all brands are too fuckin expensive nowadays, but i could live with it if the quality of them wasn't...
I don't see people complain that the car is slow per say, typically they are complaining about it being slow from a dig because of the terrible wheel spin in 1st and 2nd gear. and they are 100% correct. we all know this isn't the car you buy if you want to race people at stop lights or a drag...
im pretty sure this is normal lol. the backup camera in this car is kind of a joke. don't get me wrong- it's useful and i'm glad it's there- but it definitely could have been better. I had a 9th gen civic si ('12 - '15) and i'm pretty sure it's the exact same camera- it's the same camera...
are there even software updates for this car? i got mine in october 2023 and i was at the dealership earlier today to replace my expansion tank and i specifically asked them if there were any software or ECU updates available and he said no.
im not sure what "false" criticism you're referring to; all the criticism i've seen about this car is completely valid, and the defensiveness from people is just cope.
so anyway i took my car up to my local dealership and they looked at it and yep, the expansion tank leaked all the coolant...
i'm not frustrated enough to buy another car, but if i had to do everything all over again, i doubt i would get this car again. some people here are weirdly sycophantic about this car, where bringing up any valid criticism of it sends them into a tailspin of defensiveness.
ugh i hope you're...
just wanted to bump this- so OP's heat started working again and he has no idea why?
Ive had mine parked during this cold snap so i haven't driven it in a few weeks but i checked again today and it's still not working, so i'm gonna schedule my local dealership to look at it.
fucking annoying...
i feel that. i went through this on my last car- my '15 Si. I used to wash it and love it every week and all that, but a couple years in i was on the interstate headed to work and i think an actual bolt came out of a truck and slammed into my hood at 80 miles per hour, leaving a huge golf-ball...
i also have those same tire rack tire duffels! and you don't need to stack them on your seats if you don't want; i always fold the back seat down and load them face down in the trunk. with the back seat folded down you can fit all 4 of them without them encroaching on your leather.
yeah so reviews can be misleading. a lot of business owners proactively bribe or coerce in some way their customers to leave them strong reviews. hell the ppf shop i used (a ceramic pro dealer) did that, he was basically strong-arming people into leaving him 5 star reviews while also providing...
yeah that's what i did. i lightly wiggled the shield and the one i had fell right out. took virtually no effort. there's lots of space/play for it that i wished my old car's wheel/brake setup had lol
ive only had this happen to my ITS one time now. i wasn't able to dislodge it by driving forward and back, but i was able to make it fall out by just lightly wiggling it for a few seconds. that gap they get lodged in is actually pretty forgiving on these cars. when i would get these in my old...
i find the seats okay. honestly i still haven't been on any sort of long drives yet- i don't think ive even taken the car out for a whole hour's drive (not counting traffic). ive had it for over 2 years now and still have under 15K miles. i will say that i traded up from a 9th gen Si and the...
i went back to the old thread and dug through it; apparently they are basically identical but for some reason the MDX mirrors are significantly cheaper than the Accord ones
man that's crazy. glad you're okay.
do you plan on getting another integra? im not really sure what insurance does in an accident like this as i've never been in one. do they just give you a payout for the car's total value, and you just do what you want with it?
