Do you think there is more room for a taller tire, i.e. 35 profile? Not wider, as it def looks like ur maxed out.

Someone else I know took the gamble of a taller tire and it rubbed ...that's why I went wider so it can overlap a smitch and definitely helped ..that little bit higher allows me to not scrape on my driveway

Depending on your offset and camber, you might be able to get away with 275/35. I ran 19x9.5 +35 275/35 and it rubbed a little. Also lowered on h&r. If I could get -3 on camber I felt I would have been ok.

+40 or higher offset and I don't think you'll have any issues with a drop and factory alignment.

I just have to say it, I just can't get with the vibe of the 35 a/r tires on 19s for these cars. Aside from the admittedly weird sense of "heebie jeebies" I get for deviating from the OEM aspect ratio- that's probably just a "me" thing- but to me, it makes the car look way too "elevated" for my tastes. I mean, these pics give a strong "trans am" vibe.

I will just never understand why so many people seem to want this.

Meaty is back in!! lol. I like it. Kinda beefy and muscular looking.

I’m going to go 275/35 on 18’s for the track.

I do like the 19’s for the street though. 275/30 is perfect on 19’s. We just don’t have a lot of tire options.

I admit I'm 50/50 on this tire setup for exactly that reasons you mention. My goal was for a slightly more compliant ride and the looks as just a benefit. Turns out it's a bit too noisy for my liking and I the number feel was a definite drawback. I'm also not quite sure how I feel about the look; a bit too bulldog-ish for my liking and it doesn't really fit the overall look of the car. By itself it looks good as a wheel and tire setup but on the car I'm a little apprehensive.

I'm strongly considering a 275/30 or 285/30 but I'm currently back on the stock tires for the time being.

That looks REALLY good. These exact wheels were my first choice. Maybe they are again lol.
They really do look good in these specs. For the street I would run these and switch to a dedicated track set.

Picked up some Konig F1M forged wheels, they come in at 19lbs a piece and got a great deal through discount tire. Missing center caps bc Konig only sent 3 but overall really impressed with the wheels. Specs are 19x9.5 +45 stock height

based on this thread and a similar one on civicix.com i am going to get some volk ze40 with a 45mm offset and 265/35/18 tires which per discount tire's calculator will have almost no difference in size

Totally agree. Too me it's too puffy-looking, and the car is too high off the ground, plus there's the whole tire being 5% bigger than stock and the odo/speed/gearing being off by that much.
