Yeah that’s what I’m worried about regarding that front lip, it looks badass but don’t need it flying off while on the freeway!!! May try another brand, are there any that people aren’t having issues with?
I obsessed about this install when I did it on my fl5, I ended up selling the downpipe when I got my de5. TBH it’s the luck of the draw, some say run the engine and warm up the studs which in theory would help but there is a caveat that you could in theory increase the chance of a friction weld...
Hello
I never got around to installing this shift knob it’s brand new never been installed and only taken out of the box to look at
wanting 100 plus shipping and PayPal fees. Let me know will cross post this on the fl5 forum too.
I had an fl5 for about a year and then went to my S, let me tell you if you think the S has quality issues hold on for the R. Both cars are very devoid of any real creature comforts for being as expensive as they are and unless you are nostalgic for either manual transmissions or Honda/acura...
2nd this thought, the type s is spartan compared to other options out there. The truth is value has been destroyed with inflation where a m3 started under 65 a couple of years back is now at least mid 70’s and up. The type s is a value option in that you can get them right at 50k pretty easily...

600 plus shipping OBO
Picked up some Konig F1M forged wheels, they come in at 19lbs a piece and got a great deal through discount tire. Missing center caps bc Konig only sent 3 but overall really impressed with the wheels. Specs are 19x9.5 +45 stock height
It would be nice to also have a list of intercoolers that are confirmed to fit the DE5, I imagine most fl5 ones do but it would be nice to know for sure.
