Is there a full list of the Acura documented changes and any changes that were noticed by owners/reviewers?

Just wondering if, other than really liking the Double Apex Blue Pearl, there is any reason I'd want to get a '26 over a '25.

3 new colors, nothing else. Don't hesitate to grab any leftover '25 inventory if you can get a deal on it.

Darn, was at least hoping for cooled seats or easy entry seats. I'm surprised how many Acura/BMW/Audi don't have those but I have them on my sub-50K mustang from 2019.

Cooled seats are tough to find even in the Audi brands. You have to get the comfort seating package and not a lot of people want to give up the S Sport seats for that. I have had cooled seats in my X3M Comp, M5, and M850i and they were nothing to write home about. My biggest concern for this car is how small the gas tank is. I wish they would drop a 15 gallon in the ITS. I like only spending $38 on gas but I don't like having to go every 250 miles.

Really all the changes I have seen relate to colors and the introduction of "Double Apex Blue" which I think is hideous. (Leave the grille alone Acura!)

There was mention of a processor upgrade on the infotainment units but that was on the non Type S cars. I don't know if that transfers over as I would think it would be more costly to have two processors in production vs just one upgraded unit.

Anyway I'm just speculating.

There's so much more they could've done. Sound deadening would make any price bump worth it.

It looks like they won't be bothered to engineer anything new for this car. All the new parts trickle-down from the civic.

I also have similar thoughts as you. The only thing I think the type s might get, besides the new colors, is the processor upgrade.

It's not getting anything. This is a limited run car that won't see any changes unless something dramatic happens. And by "dramatic" I mean some special send-off unit a la a PMC edition or something like the HRC prototype they've been parading around.

Be grateful you get new colors lol.

Kidding aside, we all are presumably aware of the nearly universal praise from journalists for this car, but there's lots of criticisms that have been levied at this car by actual owners or people in the market. I've been a long time advocate for the car and think people's expectations can be ridiculous, but there's also quite a few concessions I'd make after now clocking over 2 years of ownership.

- It's too loud in the cabin. The modifications I've done have made it worse (200TW tires, exhaust)
- There are squeaks and rattles, including a bespoke "wastegate rattle" that pisses nearly everyone off
- Rocks get stuck in the rotors more than I ever thought possible
- It goes through consumables like a Porsche (I also use it like a Porsche so there's that...)
- Heated steering wheel isn't standard
- No memory seats, homelink, navigation
- The seats could have been better
- No 3rd seat, USB or vents in the rear, plus the headroom isn't great
- The stereo is better than what's in the Civic, but not good enough to justify a premium
- General lack of options vs competition (e.g., optional leather dash, cooled seats, OEM wheel variations, etc.)
- Dealership service experience is atrocious (and also exacerbated the cabin noise issues but that's not necessary the car's fault and worth its own discussion...)

But for the price relative to its competition and the attention paid to inputs and chassis feedback, there's nothing else on sale today that rivals it. Point blank period.

My general advice for anyone considering this car, is ask yourself how much you prioritize driving, and also qualify specifically what you enjoy about it. If you don't really care about these things and/or like going fast in a straight line, this car probably isn't for you.

Conversely, if track days are your priority, this also probably isn't the ideal car for you.

This car, for me, strikes the perfect balance. I can take it to track day stuff and feel like it belongs there (even if I'm not setting any lap records or competing for FTD), I can drive it for work or on errands, I can take it long distances with a passenger, my dog. and luggage in the back. Plus I'm just reminded how fun it is to drive every single time I back it out of the driveway- I just stuff all the minor annoyances in a locker in my mind and set off. This car makes it easy. It's basically everything an enthusiast needs in a modern car all in one package, with no major compromises.

But it's definitely not for everyone if priorities don't align appropriately.

The grill being colored on the Blue and red is a bit over the top, I'll give you that. I do like the new blue more than the older blue though. The older one just looked to much like everyone else's blue to me.

The body-colored grille is only on the A-spec AFAIK, and it's optional.

The paint matched grills come standard on the red and blue cars. Black grills will be an accessory add on for those colors. I don't know if this going to be a free accessory or if there will be an extra cost associated with it. Acura's website doesn't even show the block grill accessories for the '26 cars. To make things more curious, A Spec cars with black interiors will have yellow stitching, base models will have white/gray stitching, and Type S will continue with red stitching. Just strange decisions all around.

Really was hoping for that when I bought a new car. Then when I sat in the new ITS I didnt even blink twice about not having sunroof, cooled seats and no folding mirrors. With the money you’re already spending you’ll want to save for all the sweet mods youre gonna want to buy and let me tell you…the Xmas list can get long.

🤣 yo the color match grill is pretty disgusting. Not sure what they were thinking there. Idk why you would wand to resemble anything close to a Camry lol

It's worse than that. Honda infotainments have Google-built in. They won't even give you software. They have homelink while no Integra does.

Honda won't even give the Integra's that. Before you say you don't care, realize you are paying MORE than a Civic, and you're receiving less. It's horrible.

The other user is correct, this is meant to be a short lived vehicle. A vehicle like this doesn't stay in production for long unless there are big changes.

I agree with your sentiment re: how Honda has managed this car (and Acura in general), but specifically in the case of telematics and integration... I consider Honda's failure to include those features a bonus :)
