I recall a week after I purchased my Type-S I noticed more wind noise on my driver side then the passenger side. I ended up calling my dealership and they confirmed that parts of the foam liner was not properly glued/seated and re-installed the foam liner around the entire driver side door...
LOL omg please dont encourage my non-sense!
Tbh some of these rattles I cant even identify where they are coming from exactly. Ive even had my girlfriend try to find them while I drive around at a particular RPM. Typically around 2500-3000 RPM i hear a super annoying one coming from what sounds...
Oh Ive seen your spicy ones! Haha but they were well deserved. Totally feel you dishing it to the ones who deserve it. But thats what makes you a real one. Im the same way until I have to respond to a total dumbass who’s incapable of just being a decent person. Thats why I mostly stay off social...
I knew posting here would provide the car therapy I need. My gf is pretty awesome at listening to me talk about cars, but she has yet to experience or own an enthusiastic vehicle herself to fully understand the first world problems we share 😅😆
I’ve read quite a few of your responses on this...
Finding this and reading this was like therapy for me this morning.
I recently got all in my feelings about the interior quality of my Type-S. The “leatherette”, the cheap plastic, the stupid rattles that appear and disappear depending on how hot or cold it was that day. It just really started...
Hey just curious since you pretty much just did what I have been wondering about. Once you get lowering springs is it absolutely necessary to introduce spacers to aid in any specific function once the center or gravity is lowered, or is it just purely aesthetic?
I read quite a few times about...
I mean doing some research before you buy a car would’ve saved you the trouble.
But seriously, you’re complaining about the ride quality being “absolutely jarring”??
I dont even know if were talking about the same car, let alone a sports car.
🤣 yo the color match grill is pretty disgusting. Not sure what they were thinking there. Idk why you would wand to resemble anything close to a Camry lol
Really was hoping for that when I bought a new car. Then when I sat in the new ITS I didnt even blink twice about not having sunroof, cooled seats and no folding mirrors. With the money you’re already spending you’ll want to save for all the sweet mods youre gonna want to buy and let me tell...
Where exactly is this noise youre talking about? The buzzing that I have been experiencing thats been the most annoying I discovered is the plastic shielding that covers the HUD. I plan on getting some thin foam strips to slide in between and dampen the vibration.
Glad to hear this since I have no issue heel/toe in my WRX until I noticed the spacing of the pedals a few days in after getting the ITS. I actually recently purchased the Acuity throttle pedal spacer which is supposed to resolve this issue.
But with that said Ive had rev match on and its felt...
Nice! I also recently ordered the Artwork spoiler, but V1. I agree that the stock spoiler is a legit nub.
Artwork should be legit, told me they finish the piece with about 4 coats of clear coat over the CF🤌🏼
I just wanted to circle back to some folks' suggestions for the RMM. I installed the PRL RMM today. It only took 15 minutes, and wow, what a drastic difference with those shifts and the overall feel of the car. Spot on about the shifts in 1st and 2nd—such a great improvement! Thanks, guys!
Whats up DE5/FL5 owners.
Ive been reading and researching alot about which oil to use. I just hit 1800 miles and decided to change out my oil with Amsoil Signature 5W-30 for what I initially thought was just a better choice for that “added protection”.
Apparently there are minor downsides such...
