I really wanted to like the Type S. I really did. The issues I kept having with mine though made me want to get into something else. I pulled the trigger on another M850i and have to say I am quite happy with that decision. I will still be lurking around here for awhile though.

I have to agree with what everyone has said about the RS and M cars on here. They are blazingly fast but they lack driving dynamics. That is what interested me about the ITS in the first place... the Manual Transmission. I am always thinking about what my next car would be and I would be lying...

I have thought about Porsche in the past, especially something like a Panamera GTS or something along those lines. I just always get side tracked with BMW and Audi it seems and they never make my list. I agree with @whtciv2k though the price is normally what drives me away from the new Porsche...

It sounded really really good. The Type S is rare, but it isn't Skyline rare.

Forgot to post this. The shop that I got my spoiler on at had an R34 Skyline GTT. Only my second one I have seen in person.

I have started leaving it in gear a bit more often since this thread. Inclines or declines scare me more than they used to. I would say it went from 99.9% never doing it to 95%... Progress, lol.

More for an auto than a manual I would say. A manual is pretty easy to tell what gear you are in.

My M850i didn't have this either and I can relate to how annoying it is to not have. Type S has it but that's odd that the ASpec doesn't have it.
