I also used little squares of VHB tape I cut to cover the square holes, and only used the round holes at the very ends to secure the spoiler (to pull it "down" to match the curve of the trunk). The rest of the bolts are really not needed.

I also added extra materials to cover & help seal around the holes. The hardest part for me was removing the oem 3m. I used sealant & then ceramic on mine. So far so good.

Rear seat space is solid as hell. I’m not tall tho so the roof line isn’t an issue. Leg space is better than a GTI. Doors open and close fine. They sound average when U close them. The cushioning on the bottom and back piece are good too. 9/10 will sit again

Yeah, I'm 6ft, but I'm more leg than body and I have zero issues in back. My gti couldn't fit a doona kid carseat with base, and even without base I had to move my seat up a tad. In the its i can go to my normal position and doona + base fit. It's wildly good.

I will add that once I added butyl and closed cell to the doors, they finally close more thuddy. Still not super high end because the plastics are cheaper back there, but definitely good enough now.

Installed the DSC Sport Controller today - so far so good.

What's not so good though, I severed the SRS line during install. Those cables are extremely flimsy and I didn't even notice until reassembling everything back together. Honda tech told me it's looking like 10-15 hours of labor + parts. Let this be a lesson to those looking to install themselves.

Got my car back from the shop.

Evs ball joints on. Printout wasn't working so waiting on an emailed version of the final alignment, but he undid the strut bolts to fine tune both sides.

Baffled oil pan in. Nothing to report yet.

Mt85 trans fluid in. 2nd gear clunkiness seems all gone. My shifts are as buttery smooth as my foot can be now. Solid difference.

Nankang crs tires on. Rough, noisy, flappy in the wind. Make the ps4s seem quiet like an all season. They will grip, though.

Alignment... Mwahahaha. Don't glance away from the road or you'll head that direction immediately. No more squirrel moments allowed! This thing is razor sharp now. It would probably be brutal for long highway stints, but it's exactly what the car needed to wake up.

Drove in the very wet this morning with the camber and nankangs. I spent most of the time hydroplaning on uneven roads. Definitely don't do this level of camber or tire aggression if you're looking to daily the car. Factory alignment is already on the aggressive end for street use, so this is too aggressive.

Otherwise, boy is it sharp and there's is so much more oversteer than before.
