I found the performance difference greater going from PRL --> Wunderladen than from OEM --> PRL. You won't find it any rougher than what you got on there now if PRL was fine for you (it was fine for me as well).
I got mine based on his feedback as well. I'd say when driving it's smoother but on a cold start it's a touch noisier. Trying to be as transparent as possible as I have no skin in the game for either brand.
The Wunderladen is generally stiffer than the PRL - leading to an even more connected feeling to the car. The engine flex that used to occur on the 1-2 shift, while mitigated with PRL, is nearly non existent now. Aggressive throttle applications seem to be more responsive.
The added NVH was...
If you haven't yet purchased the motor mount, would suggest checking out wunderladen as well. I've recently switched over from PRL and find it much better on the performance end with only a marginal increase in NVH during idle.
I almost always use throttle, but have found with low throttle application that I'm able to fully let off the clutch a touch earlier. Vibrations are fairly minimal, but if you were bothered by the insert, this would probably be worse.
I've also installed rigid collars which I've heard can help...
Installed a wunderladen rear motor mount to replace the current prl mount, and removed the clutch delay valve from the slave cylinder.
Marginal NVH increase at idle but otherwise unnoticeable with the new RMM. Much less engine flex with 1-2 shift and going on/off throttle.
Big fan of the...
Found them on a local FL5/DE5 group.
Install was done by a professional. It requires a couple harnesses and reprogramming of sensors and airbags.
Would've loved to get a leather/Alcantara version of these in the DE5.
Installed a nsx zanardi replica knob - was gonna get this custom designed until Instagram told me someone in Australia already did this out of titanium.
Combined with acuity stage 2 upgrades this makes shifting a dream. Currently awaiting the arrival of the full acuity shifter assembly.
