Got around to installing the acuity 4 way today. My lord it feels glorious. I have the shifter at about stock height, and everything in the middle setting.

Such an awesome looking piece. With everything in the middle setting, what would you say the biggest difference in feel is from stock?

Been a while since ive updated.

Actually done today; PRL intake. Made me fall in love with the car all over again, but I wish it was louder. Makes me want to go and do the inlet pipe as well.

Also, did the black LED emblem a couple weeks ago. Illumination is cool, but not quite as impactful as I was expecting. However, the black looks SO much better than chrome.

Finally got around to installing my Artwork V1 gloss black spoiler. Turn-around on my order was incredibly quick - received within a week of ordering. That was back in late July though.
I’m very happy with the finish quality. Install was straightforward although I did have to file the two innermost holes slightly so the bolts wouldn’t fight each other. Looking forward to getting some better pics.

with the middle settings and the shifter height at position β€œ2” gate spacing and throws and height only feel a little shorter than stock, I’d say 10-15% across. Barely noticeable but def shorter throws and closer spacing which is exactly what I wanted. With those settings it feels pretty close to stock, expect it just feels more precise and crisp with zero play in the shifter. The β€œback to center” feel for the shifter is so satisfying as well. Will need to go longer drives to really get a feel. This was about a 30 min test drive mix of highway and city.

Cable linkage bushings will go in tmw.

Is that gloss black version?? I think I prefer this over the CF one.

Yup with the way the white and gloss black contrast, I didn’t want to add a third color/texture into the mix.
Thanks for the feedback about the Acuity. Looking forward to hearing how the linkage bushings affect things.

I felt the same way with my spoiler, love my gloss black V1. I’m on the fence for the Acuity shifter, though…just not sure how much it really improves shifting over stock for a daily driver.

Stock feels like a toy compared to the short shifter.

So I really can’t tell after the bushings…. There’s a smidge more vibration through the shifter, but because the shifting was already so tight with the acuity 4 way that I’m not sure…. It could also be that I hadn’t gotten fully used to the new shifter yet. I will say, if I had to do it again, I’d likely forego the bushings, and just do the shifter. The bushings ended up taking longer to install, and I’m not sure if I feel there is any difference.

Also, after a few days of driving with the new shifter, it has become my favorite mod so far on the car. My friends who have tried it also loved how tight and gated it feels. Hope this helps.

I have both the shifter kit and the bushings and I agree. If you have the shift kit already, the bushing makes no difference.
Maybe you could argue it would make a bigger difference if only running a stage 2

It does not.

I did the bushings first and posted a mini review somewhere here. It's really only noticeable when slamming into gear. And I mean SLAMMING into the gear slot. It adds a touch of "crispness" at the end of the action.

Nearly imperceptible otherwise. That's about what they advertise as well, so I can't argue it didn't deliver on what was promised 😊

Yeah, agreed on the above. Acuity told me themselves that the time you really notice the cable bushings is at the end of the level travel, as there is no rubber "bump stop" to compress. Once they told me that, I knew I wanted to keep that part stock as I value a little bit of damping at the end of a gearshift, especially if i shift too aggressively.

Changed my transmission fluid out today (first flush so far) to Redline MTL. So far, synchros feel very slightly faster than the factory fill. More noticeable on higher RPM shifts.

Got my Black Badge from @ashmostro on and it looks great! I also peeled off the black vinyl to make it body colored and think that looks WAY better. Should have the other 2 Type S badges next week and then waiting for my Artwork V2.
