Had the EPS recall performed yesterday. Done in 30 minutes. Never had any symptoms, and the car feels exactly the same.
It was my first drive with the Acuity shifter and at first I felt like it was a bit too stiff, but by the time I got home it felt normal. It’s a nice upgrade and very slick...
Just to add my experience - yesterday I installed the Acuity shifter and was having a hell of a time getting the boot to release from the retainer. I ended up just spinning the knob off, at which point I realized there was no lock nut, and the boot retainer itself acts as the stop against which...
Thanks for the heads up about the Hondata event. That would certainly be ideal but I’m traveling most of August. Figures!
I saw the remote unlock option on Phearable’s site but it seemed to cost more than the difference in shipping. I guess the peace of mind is worth a bit.
Yeah your feedback earlier in the thread was very helpful. The Cobb short throw shifter in my Subaru is one of my favorites as well, so I was pretty excited to try this out.
Looking forward to driving it but might take advantage of being in between jobs to send out my ECU for unlock and a...
Installed the Acuity shifter today. Everything is set to #2 for a mild reduction in gate spacing and throw. Shifter sits slightly shorter than stock. Haven’t driven it yet, but definitely feels more snappy.
This may be common knowledge already but at least on my ‘24 there is no jam nut under...
Bump for you. I'm considering one of these catbacks, but unfortunately too far to scoop yours. Thanks for the sound clip - did you find that the DP/CBE combo droned in-cabin?
Yeah that’s what I’m worried about. Did you find that the DP alone added anything to the exhaust note, for better or worse? I’m not trying to turn heads, just get a little more growl in the cabin.
Appreciate the response. Incremental improvement all around is what I'm looking for, rather than something transformative. I've gone down the suspension rabbit hole on my other cars and love the overall balance of the ITS, which is what makes the DSC controller so appealing - I can leave the...
@APBonABP and @Kendal0 - any further feedback for those of us on stock suspension considering the DSC controller? Have you felt the need to fiddle with the calibration?
I drive in sport mode generally and feel it offers a good balance, with room in either direction to adjust if I’m feeling...
