They probably don't "officially" sell it separately but if you email them I'm sure they can work something out with you. I know they sell the USB-C kit and include it there, as well as with the vent kit. I'd imagine they have the harness laying around in a parts bin somewhere and probably account for situations where someone gets a bad harness or something.
I will email them. At this point I am going to put back the console because it takes them like 30 days to deliver. I just installed Acuity short shifter and wanted to do the USB-C at the same time. Not sure when I have time to take apart the console again just for USB-C :)

Seems like only hope for us CVT folks to get rear console a/c vents is to find some custom duct solution that would fit with our wider shifter assembly... been looking and still don't have any ideas.
Could it be that Mikstore offers another variant of this duct? I've seen various options available in their store and while I understand that the one advertised in the video was for the manual transmission there are other ducts that were more oriented towards different transmission configurations.

@Integra23 I see you have the rear tuxmat floor mats. Do you have the "with" or "without" rear USB charging port option? I have the "without" but now that I'm considering doing this mod, I'm wondering if my rear tuxmat will no longer work.

They won't be OK anymore as per a picture I saw on this forum.

Guy had the "with USB" version on his "non-USB" car, and there was maybe 0.5-1" gap where the USB ports are...

Bummer...I want my rear passengers to be comfortable but I'd really hate to have to get another rear tuxmat

Search for the picture. Probably in one of the Tuxmats thread!

Damn, started looking into ordering parts from the list on the first post. Just found out that the console box and the console mat are on national backorder with no ETA...guess it wasn't meant to be anyway...

I tried placing an order for the console box through 3 different dealers and had my orders canceled. One dealer told me it's on national backorder with no ETA and asked if I wanted to wait. I said sure, and had the console box within a week.

Hopefully that's also the case for me, although I'm in not too much of a rush since I'm also waiting for the Mikstore kit and a handful of shifter stuff. Figured I'd do all of that at the same time.

After taking forever to collect the parts and then find time for the install, I finally got it done this past weekend. I ended up using only 3 items from the mikstore kit:

1. The splitter
2. The thru console duct
3. The charger and harness

Everything else I got from JDM Yamato, including the rear housing, a/c outlet, rear duct, and type r center console for my si. Once I had all the correct parts, everything fit together perfectly and install was 2/10 difficulty. By contrast the first time I tried to make it work with just mikstore parts was a frustrating experience.

I stayed with the Mikstore charger because it has 1 USB C and 2 USB A outlets, which offers more flexibility than 2 As or 2 Cs and the mikstore harness is dead simple plug and play with the 12V outlet.

All in all, this was a more expensive project than I intended because of the Yamato shipping costs. But I am still pleased with the result.

I thought the console, rear housing, and a/c outlet could be ordered from Honda America. Presuming I'm not mistaken, these are the part #'s:
  • 83433-T43-J31ZA - Box ASSY., Console (MT) (VENT) * NH900L *
  • 83406-TVA-A01ZA - Garnish ASSY., Rear * NH900L * (NH900L Neutral Black)
  • 83406-TVA-A01ZA - Rear outlet Assy (US)

I'm sure some of them may be, but as you can see from others in this thread the console box is on national backorder here in the US and has been for quite some time. It took Yamato about 2 months to get me mine, and the console box was the biggest driver for shipping cost so it made sense for me to get it all from Yamato.

My route was definitely not the cheapest, but may have been a little quicker.

May I ask what those parts from JDM Yamato were? Did you end up sourcing the AC vent and panel yourself? Do you happen to have the part numbers?
