Driver side dash area buzzing at 4k+ RPMs (FIXED)

Just got my car back from the dealership. They found the problem. It was in their tech forums. They were kind enough to give me the print outs (attached). Warranty work.

Short answer is that the buzzing above 4k RPM driver side dash area was heater core pipes touching.

I have no idea as I took it to the dealership but it's a heater core piping which is typical fairly accessible. They mentioned removing or getting around the knee airbags.

I would simply take it in which the attached information to help speed them along.

So I have buzzing I can hear on cold starts, and when I hit 3.5k and above, but the rattle seems to be more in center of car/ more passenger side, and pressing on the dash above the glove box stops it. Do you think mine is something different?

All of your symptoms are different from mine. I would "guess" it's different.

If it can be relatively replicated, take the details of how to replicate it to the dealership and see what they say. You could mention the information I provided as perhaps it's associated somehow.

Took a vid but sound is shit lol. It’s honestly kinda metallic pinging buzz, wouldn’t be surprised if it was same thing, wouldn’t let me update tho cuz it was too big

yeah I’ll have to take it in again, easy to replicate. It sounds almost metallic buzz and right when I hit like 3500 rpm’s

I had this one too. Can you make your dash creak by pushing on it to the left of the glove box? Open the box and push around the left side mounts. If it creaks, remove and reinstall the glove box. Tighten the bolts evenly.

I took care of the buzz at start up and the rattles from the glove box this way. I needed to take it apart to disconnect the ANC module post sub & amp install, so it was a while I’m in there thing. I also added felt tape on the trim push clips and places where plastic to plastic moving parts were like the damper for opening and closing the door slides.
