Just got my car back from the dealership. They found the problem. It was in their tech forums. They were kind enough to give me the print outs (attached). Warranty work.

Short answer is that the buzzing above 4k RPM driver side dash area was heater core pipes touching.

I think I might have this issue. How buried is it because I'd prefer not bringing it to the dealership?
I have no idea as I took it to the dealership but it's a heater core piping which is typical fairly accessible. They mentioned removing or getting around the knee airbags.

I would simply take it in which the attached information to help speed them along.
