  1. Hondata Tour Jailbreaking the DE5

Yeah I noticed my parking sensors were disabled after the jailbreak.. in your right hand gauge scroll to system security and turn it back on with cruise control toggle button. I reported issues to hondata tech support back on Tuesday.
  2. Dyno Numbers for TSP catted downpipe and PRL frontpipe.

there is a small difference in all the hose kits.. about 15MM with the conversion kit and a slightly different angle. Will have the video of the install showing the differences between the different couplers in the HVI install video will be releasing as soon as I get the dyno numbers on it.,
  3. Type S Front Pipe Questions

I had some pretty big gains with DP and FP +58HP +58FT with intake side already done (minus HVI was installed after dyno).. posted link to dyno and vid here. 4. Type S Front Pipe Questions

I don't think the front pipe alone will make any difference in sound. Biggest two sound changers are obviously the mufflers and then the CAT. I also don't think changing the front pipe without the downpipe will make any HP difference since your main bottleneck in that scenario would first be...
  5. Ain't She Purdy?

SMOKIN!! I like the dark tint contrast on white. Bet there are some fun roads around there.
  6. Invidia Q300 installed

  7. Apex Blue Appreciation Thread

    Welcome to the ABP club!!!
  8. Gun metal F5's

Side note, I was trying to get my hands on a TPMS programmer as I bought these originally as a second "track" set so they have their own 433Mhz TPMS sensors in them and I thought I would have to program them like they did in an ACH video.. I couldn't get my hands on a programmer so I was just...
  9. Gun metal F5's

added techniq C5 wheel armour coating before I mounted them so yeah, hella easier than stock wheels. PLUS, I can easily reach my hand in and easily clean caliper with wheel still mounted. here is the lineup on the side of the car with the +45 offset.
  10. Gun metal F5's

my 19 inch F5's wrapped in bridgestone potenza's. Yeah, I am sure it would look smoother with some springs but not really sure I want to drop it any.. about to post this and I am thinking I should have taken a pic of the side.. These are +45 offset and match the side of the car beautifully...
  11. Painted wheels

Co-worker told me he saw a black type-s with gloss black rims, blacked out emblems and limo tint upstate SC yesterday.. he didn't take a picture  wonder if they are on the forum post pic please!
  12. Wagner IC

LOL., install instructions shipping with unit and not posted on website so you won't know if it requires modifications until you get it.. Dang.. curious to see those instructions when you get it.
  13. Change to metric

Maybe just by the Canadian model and ship it from there instead of US??
  14. Does anyone have any tips for removing these water spots?

You will need to use a cutting compound not just a polish. Attached photo is the compound and pad I used that I know will gently cut through the ceramic.
  15. Does anyone have any tips for removing these water spots?

Stinks that you will need to redo it but Meguiars have different compounds with different cutting strengths. I found that the “meguiars ultra fine cut cleaner” with a medium pad was enough to gently take off the ceramic without cutting into the clear to bad. I had a few high spots I had to fix...
  16. Does anyone have any tips for removing these water spots?

When you say you didn’t put it on in time does that mean the water spots were on the car when you added the ceramic?? If that is the case you will need to compound the ceramic off and the water spots then re-apply.
  17. Starting up hiccups, can take a few tries

Agreed you need to hold the clutch longer until the engine is fully started.. ALSO, important note for those that do NOT put on their seatbelts before driving. safety "feature" is the parking brake will NOT auto dis-engage when you let out the clutch in gear if the drivers seatbelt is not...
  18. Would the Type S Actually Benefit from a Front Strut Bar?

I did not notice a big difference on the track with the 27WON strut bar and brake brace as in "that car cut in were it seemed to wobble before" or anything like that. What I can same with affinity is more support cannot hurt. I also believe (no backing data) that a strut bar can also extend the...
  19. Does anyone have any tips for removing these water spots?

Trying not to get water spots I think is more practical at least in my case. Most important thing in my opinion is to NOT wash in direct sunlight if at all possible. I ceramic coated my car with Adams Advanced so I wash it in the shade and use a leave blower to easily remove excess water and...
  20. Burples and pops GONE, Fixed.

 What Turbo did you upgrade too? increase/decrease in lag/spool? guess with d-rob tune you are able to up the boost some and not just dependent on MAF? With all that extra airflow (HVI and such are you going to upgrade to a race MAF? Do tell.. maybe start a new thread as I believe this...
