They are definitely not for the track but they are good daily drivers

Want a dedicated set of wheels to fit some of those 200s in 295/30/18 for track
I was going to go that wide, but I did some math around heat range and slip angle for the car weight where I found a 275 is ideal for the car. To push a 295 you really need to run an 11" or 11.5" wide wheel, and consistency will still suffer a bit due to the narrower slip angle.

I had a similar effect on my other car where running 315 square was actually slower than running 295 square. Just food for thought 😊

I’ve got 275/35/18 on 18x9.5 76rr on it now
Perfect street look to me
Was thinking it could handle the 295 with a little wider rim since the track width is less in rear
What tire/wheel combo you run on track?

I ran the potenza race previously in 265, which is a total Supercar tire... Comfy and consistent but not setting records. I ran the nankang crs in 275 most recently and peak grip is wild. Falls off a bit at the end, but overall a fast tire. I set the fastest time overall second session in time trial with it, among all groups, and then had a slip off track 😐😑.

It can fit the 295 with an 11" rim, but you'll sacrifice slip angle. Note that width does nothing for grip. Weight is what dictates overall grip. And you're not changing that. Width changes how the tire heats and the drag you face going straight. Wider will eat into the aero at the edges of the front unless you use a proper splitter and fence. Width helps if you're looking for heat management, but you'll also need even more camber to keep the shoulder happy, even with a 10.5" or 11" wide rim.

In short, the reasons I avoided going to a 295 (or even 285) over the 275:

3240lb car with driver spreading weight across a wider contact patch in front which lowers average contact pressure and runs greasier overall

Wider means more heat to build and that makes a big difference if you can't get it truly hot enough for the laps you need it

Rotating mass is higher

Scrub radius and steering angle are effected, while also needing closer to -4 to 4.5 static camber as opposed to -3.5 with a 275 (classic trap people fall into where you see "camber wear")

Rolling resistance and drag at the front (same is true for lower offset wheels)

TT4 tire size classing rules (in my specific case)

Just because you CAN fit the size, doesn't mean you should. Autox is a different animal because it's all about violent steering input over smooth loading, which is why you see a lot of pinch fits there. In the case of the its in sub 400whp, and sub 3300lb weight, the 275 I personally found to be the ideal choice for my setup and goals.

Have they adhered well or did you use a supplemental adhesive?
Adhered well, no issues. I'd start in the recessed areas and then work out from middle. Makes it easier to apply and keep from tearing. If you want, you can avoid covering the insulation mounting holes so you can still use the insulation in winter.

PRL HVI w/ AEN filter and TSP downpipe + PRL front pipe.

The intake is great but honestly, the TSP + PRL isn't as loud as I was expecting. What are people doing for more volume? Would like to retain the factory valves and zero drone is a hard requirement.

Acura Integra What did you do to your Integra Type S today? 🙋🏻‍♂️ 26-07-17 19-25-49 1496

Bumping up to a 3” exhaust will help with volume. There’s also the borla, the only 2,75” option but I dunno if a dp overwhelms the polyphonic thingy? I assume not but maybe wait till either folks agree or correct me

Regardless. Dont go crazy. Stay away from the invidia r series and awe track and the other louder ones. You having a dp now, it could end up being too loud and or droney bro.

With high flow dp comes high flow responsibility.

Honestly, driving it more, I think I'm ok with the volume I have now. I'm able to hear it over the music which is basically good enough for me. I can also just turn it off if I want to hear it more lol.

Will be interesting to see where this goes. I hate PE acquisitions, but this could be good. Hondata needs some modernization and money injection. Who knows!...
I just need them to adopt Mac for fucks sake.

Windows is shit. U buy a windows lap top. Turn it on. After an hour or two of updates you can finally proceed. Only to have to sign into a million different things. And then. Fucking finally we are at the Home Screen. Only to get a damn pop up ad for some virus protection bullshit

meanwhile. U buy a shitty little over priced Mac. Turn the bitch on. Sign into iCloud. And that’s it. You’re in. It’s done

I hate Mac as much as windows but I can’t help to want the Mac’s experience since it respects my time more tbh.

Any update on how much of a difference there is?
In my case. About 10% stronger more pronounced thump. At about volume 10 and up it’s a lot more tho. It’s like it’s on a weird curve. At about volume 13-15 it Genuinely feel like 20-25% more thump

The inside of the box was filled with that stuff tho. Whatver it was called. How ever much you think you’ll need buy more. That little box takes a lot surprisingly. Maybe it wa called poly fill?

for 60 bucks and like 60 minutes of work. It’s worth it imo

Plz keep my observations in the “this guy isn’t an audiophile at all” pile tho
