Type S Isle of Man Green Paint Job

I had my 2024 Integra type S painted Isle of Man Green... with high quality paint and a factory style paint job. I will take some more pictures soon with my better camera (added them now).

Thanks dude. It was $10,500, but I knew the manager. Would have been $15,000. Factory style where they removed every panel, you cannot find the previous blue color anywhere. I considered a wrap, but where I live they last only 2 years.

And thanks for sharing the cost details, a lot of folks don't want to provide that for some reason. It's probably pretty rare that someone would opt to spend another 10-15k on a new vehicle just to get it in the color they want, but Porsche guys do it all the time (and would probably fight/kill for just the privilege to as they limit allocations...).

Should be able to get more pics tomorrow. Yea I bought this car with painting it in mind. Color is made by BMW but cheapest manual they offer it on is like 110k, plus BMW tried to sue me once after lying to me (they lost terribly). That's a long story.

Yes I had the blue, it was beautiful, but this was the dream.

That's correct, they did not take apart everything in the engine bay but they did black out all the visible blue areas.

That's about the cost of individual paint so you did great!

Car looks great also! I have a soft spot for Verde ermes and Java green, myself. Well more of a hard spot, really.

I have a hunch we might be getting the Indy Yellow Pearl on the HRC prototype but... just a hunch. They might/probably would do a different color, but there have been strong signs that they're deeply considering putting that HRC car into production, and it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to think it would just replace whatever PMC edition plans they may have had.

I hope it isn't Indy Yellow, because while I love that color, I wouldn't own a car in that color. If that makes sense...

Not sure I would in this color either TBH, I feel like they're just about even with colors that I love looking at, but wouldn't want on my personal vehicle.

For the most part, Acura's choices for PMC cars play it relatively safe with just a unique hue of red, blue, or grayscale. I kind of like the idea of a Thermal Orange ITS, but I wouldn't be heartbroken if it was Valencia Red or Long Beach Blue... or even Gotham Gray.

In any case, I'm going to be doing some deep soul-searching when and if they announce a production HRC Integra. I might punt completely because it doesn't have back seats though.

But I digress. I still want more pics of this green!!!

So just a fun note, curva/kurva means "whore" in several languages. "whore red" sounds like a pretty appropriate name for a bright red, lol
