You’re right, I think dry will beat oiled every time (never thought I’d say that, but in this context it makes sense). However, I think the difference in filtration is small enough that I’m willing to chance it, particularly given my positive experiences with oiled filters in a bunch of other engines.The infinity looks dope, don’t blame U for loving it. I mean, look at that thing. You know?
I just want a better filtering filter. That’s all. The cheapest dry filter will absolutely filter better than the best oiled filter it seems. Removing my prl intake to clean the fine dust from the area post “filter” sucks
this has been an issue with every single oiled filter I’ve ever ran over the years. Frankly kinda tired of having to wipe the shit down every few months
I get why it’s an oiled filter. For the size that was available U can’t go dry, dry flows like shit hence why it has to be over sized some. For the sake of flow. And that’s not an option on the fl5 and de5 unless you totally think outside of the box.
but damn. That’s it. I’m ready to throw this prl away bro. I don’t want to wipe the shit down anymore. This is so fucking stupid.
