Back to your question (I'll behave) what do you mean by feels weird? The shifter? The trans? The whole car?

I get a weird "bounce" in my shifter sometimes when downshifting to second. It's not a grind... More like a bounce off the synchros before they fully accept the shift into 2nd.
You know. It does kinda feel like a bounce maybe. Like a slip and a catch. Definitely not a grind. I feel it with my body tho, I’ve broken out of the habit of leaving my hand on the shifter unnecessarily (no offense). So I’ve no idea if I could feel it there

does it maybe 90% of the time. I can downshift into second at 1200rpm or even 2k and it’ll do it maybe 90% of the time. Doesn’t feel like it’s the lsd at all. It’ll even do it in scenarios where the car shouldn’t be clawing for grip

best way I can describe it is a slip and catch sensation that apparently only I can feel since my passengers swear the down shift was very smooth. What’s interesting, there’s no feeling that the weight is shifting any from front to rear or vice versa too

Do you still have your clutch delay valve or have you deleted it?
Oh no she’s still got the clutch delay valve. I want to delete but first I want to drive a fl5 or de5 that’s got it deleted to see how it feels before I do it.

3rd to 2nd is a very slow (relatively) shift generally for me. I don't feel a "slip" of any sort, so much as the huge difference between the two gears. If I do a very fast/smooth release of the clutch at high rpm and hard braking (track use) i chirp the tires almost every time. They wouldn't chirp if there was a grab issue at the clutch.

Rev match on or off doesn't change much. Grippier tires do (higher pitch, shorter chirp). Rev match off leads to less 3-2 grind for me because I can anticipate the shift sequence faster than the ecu can respond to it, and I can heel the throttle very hard to compensate. I suspect a lighter flywheel would improve the rev climb, but then i can also drop the clutch faster so it would chirp the same, just with faster shifts 🤔

Just do it - there are literally no negative felt side effects. Only goodness.

I still have my extra one lying around.

Shoot out to HARDMotion for the delivery of my new PRL intake. Install was a breeze BUT did have an issue with this particular bolt/screw..how do you take it off out?! I ended up wiggling it out but still took forever

For some dumb reason, Honda decided that one needs to be permanently secured. Folks either wiggle it off like you did, or cut the m'fer. Hopefully the PRL kit comes with its own replacement.

I think I just used pliers to grab and turn when I installed my PRL intake...

Yeah same
Pliers kept turning. I did the wiggle technique. At first it didnt seem like it'll come off but eventually it did. I even had a hard turn taking one of the oem couplers off. Those tiny philips screw kept stripping and i didnt have the .5 size socket!
