Can anyone give me some tips on disconnecting the 12v socket harness from the center console?

IIRC there's a clip on the underside, facing the tray. Super annoying.
Ended up just setting it to the side.

Interior of the cabin is out! Acoustic treatment begins tomorrow.

Tip for anyone interested in doing the same: open the hatch before you disconnect the battery to take out the seats... it's probably easiest to pull the carpet out the back. (I did not do that, so I had to finagle it out the passenger door.)

I did indeed decide to move to 18s, and bought a set of Volk CE28N-Plus, 18x10 +40 ("god spec").

I've been vocal in my disdain for 18" wheels on this car aesthetically early in its release cycle, but after seeing several examples (especially of CE28s...), I decided that the tire choices were too strong. Plus they don't make CE28s in 19" (but apparently they may start offering them soon?).

Anyway, Shining Bronze finish, along with bronze Rays center caps and Project Nics Monolith lugs, and got a great deal on all without a 6+ month wait... but none of it will be going on the car until March anyway! They're still in the box so I cropped the seller's photo (great guy BTW):

I was going to consider keeping my 19" Apex VS-5RS and fit them with a set of OEM PS4S for non-autocross usage, but I don't think that makes a lot of sense knowing my tendency for laziness and lack of space in the garage. I'll consider offers on them and probably list them for sale in the coming week.

Congrats. Waiting for March is gonna be rough, haha.

18" CE28s look great on this car, imo -- TE37s, too. I think it's mostly the split spoke designs in 18s that look to small for it.

Finished treating the interior of the cabin with Killmat (and hit the inside of the center console / cupholders with the little bit I had left over):

Also took the opportunity to swap in the high preload spring for the Acuity shifter while I had everything out.

I might try treating the fender liners next time I have the wheels off, but this should be it for interior treatment. All together, it should come to just under 50 lbs (including hatch, doors, subwoofer cabinet, and the cabin). I guess that's a good excuse to grab some wheels and an exhaust to get that net weight gain back to zero 🀣

Haha...just quoted you in another thread about 19" ce28 coming in 2026 and this colorway. Congrats! This color is top tier!

4) FItcamx 4K Dash Camera install - super easy install and perfectly integrates with existing mirror setup etc; maybe 30-45 min install and literally plug and play. Not very expensive either.

The FitcamX you appear to have installed is supposedly designed for the TLX. The FitcamX website shows this one is designed for the Integra:

How did that install process go and how did you determine the TLX model would work fine in the ITS? Also, why did you choose it rather than the Integra FitcamX model? Thanks for sharing, because I’m considering buying one during their BF sale.

I think their website is just using outdated or generic pictures. The Amazon listing for the Integra shows 2 different styles of camera, neither of them match what actually showed up.

If you're doing just the front camera install super painless. Pop the mirror trim off and 2 screws for the dome light assembly, plug in a small jumper harness to the dome light and put the camera trim back on. If you opt for the rear camera running the wire might take you a bit depending how much effort you put into hiding the wire.

Thanks! I like the look of the camera you received much better than their pictures.

After 14 months of waiting, wheels have finally arrived and I finally got to put some more parts on the car:
  • Volk TE37 Ultra Time-Attack II 19x9.5 +36 in Dark Gunmetal instead of the matte black they usually come in on the OEM Michelins
  • Spoon Progressive Springs
  • Spoon Rigid Collars
  • EVS Front Camber Joints

Wheels were coated with 2 layers of CarPro Dlux and pretty happy with how easy of a coating it was to apply. Satisfied with how the car now sits with -2.5/2.7 degrees of camber all the way around. Could be a little lower aesthetically but very happy with the ride on the Spoon and not sure if it is placebo but it does feel like the rigid collars help in smoothening things out, especially over bumps and dips. Curious to see how the car will handle now going at it, need to sign up for another autox soon...
I feel like this didn't get the comments it deserved but wow. I don't like how "flat" the 19" TE37s Saga's look but these look fantastic.

Where did you get these?

Installed a Remark SS exhaust today. It's a full 3" downpipe-back system (includes a high quality front pipe). Installation was very easy, with excellent fitment. The included hardware is decent quality zinc plated stuff, and the gaskets are excellent - nice and thick and the right compressible material. I got a leak-free installation on the first try.

Now, to the sound. It's amazing on the top end. Growls but also has a higher pitch harmonic that I was looking for, and is lacking from much of the JDM stuff. The not so good is that there is a little bit of drone. I am going to let it break in and then decide if I want to add in a vibrant resonator ahead of the existing Remark one. There's room for a bottle style for sure, and possibly an ultra-quiet variant. Will decide that later.

I am satisfied with the result as it's the look and sound I was seeking, and any drone can be easily addressed through the additional resonator if I decide I can't adapt to the new sound at lower RPMs. But again, the WOT sound is outstanding. Best I've heard on this platform.
