Did you mean in general? We have to get the accessory heated wheel which has the heating elements built in but it also comes with the button, harnesses, fuse, and rear shroud to accomodate the button.
Got it. I didn’t read the previous comments and I just saw the heating button on the Mugen wheel.

The Mugen wheel is really nice. How exactly does steering wheel heating function work in this car?
There is a heated wire that runs in the wheel itself. Need the button and wiring. Not sure what you need since my Canadian spec car came with the heated wheel.

Just notice someone already posted the parts needed to convert to a heated wheel.

Got my winter wheel and tire setup delivered today. I’m off Monday, so I plan on applying C5 ceramic coat to the wheels then so they have plenty of time to cure before I install them in a month or so.

Specs for anyone interested:
Wheels: Sparco FF4, 18x9.5 +45
Tires: Pirelli P-Zero AS Plus 3, 265/35

I just wanted to be different than everyone running Volks and DWS06’s πŸ˜†

Here’s a better pic

Hey, Can you elaborate on how you handled the mud flap thing? I've been wanting these but don't want to lose the mudflaps. I know another member did it too but just wondering exactly how to measure and cut, etc.

I put on stainless brake lines yesterday. I much prefer rubber lines for the road because they let you modulate just a bit better with a touch more fine squish at the end of a stop, but for track use I like the insulation and heat resistance factor of stainless.

On a positive note, looks like the stock rubber lines were nicely flexible, but also very stiff in expansion. I wouldn't change them out unless you're doing a lot of high speed track time. There was much less of an impact going to stainless here as I've seen with other platforms. Older Honda and subaru come to mind.

The stainless lines in comparison are a touch more stiff, but shine at rapid brake input and mid pedal modulation (like trail braking specifically).

Next up I'm looking at the master cylinder brace from verus and the rear guide pin replacement. Would love to hear some feedback from anyone who has done them already!!

The factory brakes with uprated pads (xp12 race pads) do a great job creating stopping power, and cool relatively adequately. Roughly 30mins is their limit before the caliper, rotor, and fluid are fairly heat soaked. The pads could still keep going, but at that point the fenders need more venting to get that heat out. If you're going to be doing 45min+ sessions or any endurance work, fender venting would be absolutely crucial, or back off every 6 laps or so.

Used a jigsaw to cut them. I actually have the pieces that I cut. I s'pose I could somehow scan it and make a PDF folks could print out and use to cut. I did the fronts nearly perfectly so the pieces are good, the rear, i cut a bit more off than I wanted, but still looks good. I guess i could remove that, and scan that and make a template. It will at least be a good starting point referencing the pics I took. When I was doing this, I wished there was some sort of template.... If there is enough interest, i may do it for folks.

here's the front and rear close up:

Jigsaw. Hmm, sounds like it wasn't too hard. Once you cut the edge, did you paint it? What did the unfinished edge look like? Their stuff does seem pretty sturdy so I imagine it wouldn't hurt anything. I want a template! Looks good though.

No I didn’t paint it, I just sanded it down and made it smooth enough. The unfinished edge is just a matte black and doesn’t look out of place. I’ll see if I can get a template for ya next week when I can have access to a copier/scanner

Don't spend too much time on it but thank you. I can probably trace my mud flap too and sort of figure it out. I'm not sure there will be a huge demand for the template. I still have to actually order them. Ha ha.

I do have the front lip and their V2 Spoiler so figure why not. Only thing stopping me has been the potential for losing the mud flaps.

Could you mock up with carboard? Cheap and easy.

When I made my splitter I did cardboard to baking paper, to plywood fitment, to foam core fitment, to carbon layup, and final fit. It's a whole process, but to get things 100% aligned it all comes down to prep work.

That sounds like a lot of additional work but may be worth it to get it perfect. I got the sides perfect by watching a video where a guy had his cut out piece and eyeballed it. I used that to start and cut little bits away until it cleared. The rears I kind of cut too much, but overall looks good so I’m not mad about it. Thankfully the rears are cheap and easy to replace so I may try again next year. For now, it’s more than satisfactory so I’m good with it.

If you think that's work, you should see how people custom mock fenders to make them right, lol.

I get it though. 100% perfect fitment is not for everyone. Most people are okay with 80% and even more would never notice when fitment is 95%. For example, I've never seen a seibon panel above 90% fitment and it bothers the crap out of me, but most people don't notice. Same for our factory mudflaps. The fitment is 90-95% and it's just okay. Some of us are just too ocd for our own good πŸ˜‚πŸ™ƒπŸ˜”

I can appreciate that! I think I’m in the 95% perfect category 🀣
