Not going to lie, I actually plan on doing this to the bottom half of my inlet pipe when I get it πŸ˜…
All the piping that's cast aluminum and near hot parts would be worthwhile (and cheap) to do! I like the eventuri and prl titanium inlets because the materials will reduce radiant heat from the turbo. I wish someone made a full titanium pipe as a single piece. Or even if someone made an airbox reroute system to avoid the hot turbo altogether.

Better yet, maybe Honda should have used their TCR platform to learn off of and turned the turbo or done something to avoid that silly routing. After a while on track, the turbo lag becomes more pronounced. It's worst when you've driven a little harder in hot temps on the street and then stop at a light.

Actually, there is someone that did exactly that.

Ive thought about trying my hand at it, and the thread has great info to do it... but I dont have a good spot to work on my car currently, and its hot as shit outside right now. Im also lazy and would want to spend time bench-test fitting everything I could, which I also dont have the space for. Might be fun to do in the future, though.

That's fantastic! I love it!

Definitely a few limitations, especially with the filter so low, but I'm sure that solution is a lot more effective at reducing iat over time.

Thanks for sharing!

Picked up my Seibon hood yesterday.

Hood looks great and it was packaged nicely without any damage. CF weave and clearcoat looks good without any visual defects. Fitment and gaps are even and install went smoothly. Need to install the hood latches next.

Thanks to Josh from Meraki Autoworks for hooking me up.

Little install weekend.

beginning with reinstalling my downpipe heat shield. Had it powder coated with some hi-temp semi-gloss black.

Then onto the Downstar dress up kit.

May hold off on the shifter bushings as I ordered the PRL matte carbon inlet tube assembly…might as well wait to pull the intake and battery and do it all at once.

Car is looking fantastic. It seems like everyone opts for the GT-250 wing instead of the GTC-300. Why did you choose one over the other? Your car is eventually where I would like mine to be. Hoping to get all the carbon bits eventually.

I wanted the flat picnic table look instead of the curved. I’ll probably switch out the Artwork lip spoiler back to the black OEM spoiler since it probably is disturbing the airflow under the APR wing.

Smart move.

Make a proper splitter or have someone make one. AJ Hartman will make you one. I've made my own carbon, alumilite, and even plywood(marine grade) ones. They all work and are far more efficient than lips or just an air dam.

Finally found my Zen with the shifter!
- Acuity 4-Way Adjustable Performance Shifter
- Acuity ESCO-Ti Shift Knob Burnt Titanium (perfect weight, size and grip for me)

What a combo!

The shifter current setup: gate spacing in the middle, gear throw at shortest. Will try to shorten gate spacing at some point.

PRL hub-and-wheel centric 15mm spacers installed! I'm loving the appearance upgrade with both sets of stock wheels. Before/after side by sides included.
