Rear AC vents part kit from 2022 Civic

Can you just use the Honda rear console with the Mikstore vents and ducting? Have the Mikstore kit but was gonna just purchase the OE rear console and use the rest of the Mikstore parts?

If you're trying to use the mikstore vent on the Honda rear cover then I would say no. The cutout for the vent is slightly different and I couldn't get it to sit properly. If you get creative enough you might be able to make it work but it wasn't just "drop in". Also the way the duct going to the vent mounts to the panel is different so you may run into issue there as well.

What you can do without any issue is use the Honda rear cover, Honda vent, and the Honda small duct with the mikstore center duct. It would save you having to rip the entire center console out again

I am trying to do the same as TAEGEUK_DE5. I have the Mikstore kit and tried to trim and cut the tabs to work with no luck. The Mikstore tabs are actually too long, but trimming them did not work.
Could you give us the part numbers for the Honda rear cover, vent, and small duck to order?

Small development for the few people that probably care enough to do this but there is a way to keep your current armrest with the correct bracket for the Type R box.

Previously I believe the only know solution was the FL1 armrest which as of writing run around $200 without shipping from japan.

The development I stumbled upon is you can take either a Type R or now the Prelude (uses the same center console as the Type R) and swap just the brackets.

The bracket for both is held on with a small E clip. Once the clip is removed you can slide the long pin out of the armrest and the bracket. Re-assemble is just swapping the bracket over and putting the pin and clip back on.

Just re-use the original 4 screws from you old box and you're good to go.

As of right now the Prelude is the cheapest option at around $160 new before shipping. It's not a whole lot cheaper but is around $60-70 cheaper than the Type R armrest and can be sourced for any dealer or Honda parts vender domestically.

Your other option which would probably be the most economical if you get lucky enough is to find either car at a salvage yard. You could also ask around on their respective forums if someone has a torn one that they'd let go for cheap.

Also if someone really wants blue stitching on their armrest (not sure why anyone would) and doesn't have the rear A/C they could do the opposite and put the Integra bracket on the Prelude armrest.

this is what I did, just removed the 4 screws and swapped the upholstered lid.

Maybe I missed it being mentioned but the prelude console lid is a soft close lid, my Integra type S one was not. Small thing to consider for those that go the prelude route.
