Nice to see it can fit, and we have even more room in the fender than the civic sisters. I'll have to stick to a 275 for classing, but most super 200 275s measure as wide or wider than 300tw 285s...

That type r needs a splitter and a fence with that much front poke to match the aero of that wing, though😅

Does anyone know of a reputable 18x10.5 +44 to +47 wheel that isn't apex? I love apex but after having two sets of vs5rs and ec7, I'm looking for something different. Ideally a decent flow formed option that's easy to replace (not some wait list special wheel) and is on the very cheap end (<500$ per)...
Just received these pictures back from our customer, he took my advice on the 18x10.5 +47 size for his 76RR, and ordered two sets simultaneously.

This current winter setup will run 275/35 Conti DWS06+, and the summer setup will have 275/35 Conti ECS 02. Lots of space for more tire

My FK8 was the original demo car for these, and since that car sold, my set of 76RR now lives on the FL5

18x10.5 +47 with 285/35 Conti DWS06+. Lowered on H&R’s currently, and also confirmed no rub with the more aggressive Swift Springs.

295/30 is doable as-is, and with Coilovers 305/30 is possible if someone wants to go crazy

Given the weight of this platform I don't believe anything larger than a 285 will be beneficial... It will probably be slower honestly because of the reduced feel, slip angle, and heat tolerance on the shoulder. Unless you're putting down 450+ to the wheels and pushing 14k+ springs with real aero.

For anyone interested, I have yet to find a 285 tire that fits into the NASA 282mm template for TT4 limitations. (this is the power class allowing a 3240lb fwd car to run 348 avg whp on a super 200 tire). I need to mount the wider 275s on a 10.5" rim to check sizing, but in theory they should fit the 282mm limit.
