Acura Integra DSC Sport Suspension Module for our cars! IMG_5652

The original metal bracket covers the exposed circuitry. The other side is a metal cover over the OEM PCB board that you set aside.

The one screw between the seat cushions was a pain to get to. Other than that, it was an easy install.

I am on a stock set up. Need more time with it and higher speed driving to get a determination.

Another happy DSC customer here. I have a street close to my house that will give any car a workout. On the old comfort setting the car would bounce fairly good as mentioned by APBonAPB with the the DSC the car just stays a lot flatter and feels smoother. On Sport the suspension feels about perfect for me it just stays planted better while feeling a bit more plush than the original sport setting. All in all super happy with this controller I am on stock suspension and after adding this controller I think this is how it will stay.

Can't wait for your feedback. I'm reconsidering increasing the power. I've had it in go to jail territory too much lately. An improved ride sounds good since I commute in mine.

I can’t resist tweaking my setup.

@Maya@DSC I noticed there is no selection for Honda/Acura under File > Vehicle Type. Can you confirm which option best matches our vehicles?

Are there tunes we can download for stock suspension and springs? I would like to dig deeper into the differences.

Lastly, is it possible to lock tuning files?

Apologies! I was just about to push out an email with the install guide that explains this bit. You should select Mustang. (There are a handful of reasons for this that I won't get into just yet, but know we are working on it!).

I can push you a copy of the stock file.

What do you mean by lock? As in password-protect, or something of that nature?

Installed my unit a few days ago — easy job! I never had any complaints about the ride quality on street (in comfort) but felt that the stiffer modes were not suitable for my local track.

For me, while the comfort mode was softer, I was not initially impressed by comfort mode. Once I switched the car to sport, I was impressed by the bandwidth of the shocks, the compliance, and the response - it seems “perfect”! Sport+ still seems a little bouncy on the street, but I will try it out on the track.

A few questions:
1) Can we leave the USB cable plugged in?
2) Is the launch control feature active for our platform?
3) I think it was mentioned that the DE5 and FL5 controllers have the same firmware. Do the FL5 and the DE5 come with the same calibration out of the box?

I installed the unit today and have initial impressions street driving in town and curvy roads. The install is 5 minutes easy. DSC Sport preloaded the lowering springs calibration, and I have H&R springs installed. The results are immediately noticeable and are improvements.

The comfort setting is smoother and less crashy in all conditions. Cracked, uneven pavement no longer jostles the chassis. There is noticeably less front end dive with moderate+ braking. The car corners flatter. Hats off DSC Sport. This is what I was looking for.

I tried sport and sport+ as well. Each firm up the car and are distinct from each other. Sport+ was a little bouncy up to 35 mph and smoothed out going faster. I can’t really test these settings well as it is too cold for my tires now.

My impressions with stock suspension so far is similar to the others. Car behaves quite dynamic which is interesting.

Comfort at low speeds is just ok, was hoping it would be way more cushy but that is a limitation of the car, not DSC. Comfort at highway speeds has much more responsive steering.

Sport and Sport+ each feel a half step down in firmness without any compromise to the handling. Each setting is fairly distinct. Sport + was super bouncy before, to the point of being intolerable, but now is perfectly fine.

I have the same findings. Comfort at low speeds is jarring; even more so than the stock module. I am working on fine tuning to address this very issue.

I’d be happy to share my files once they get to a reasonable place.

This module is terrible for my perfectionism; I have a feeling I’ll never been “done”.
