Hey everyone! I just picked up this Borla cat-back second-hand over the weekend and made a comparison video. One thing to note, I didn't realize until removing the stock exhaust, but the previous owner had actually done a resonator delete already. So the "before" clips are with the factory muffler and no resonator.
It is hard, as always, to convey truly what it sounds like over video. I tried my best to keep conditions, location of the camera and location of the decibel meter consistent to make it as representative as possible. Even still, there are some subtleties to the Borla that don't show up on camera.
Anyways, see video below. Let me know if you have other questions about it!

- The actual decibel reading is higher in all scenarios, somewhere in the 3-5 range in most cases. It is definitely noticeably louder in person than before, in basically every scenario.
- The "Comfort" mode with Borla is roughly equivalent, if not slightly quieter than, stock "Sport". Comfort would not stand out in traffic as being aftermarket or obnoxious.
- "Sport" and "Sport+" with Borla are loud, and not only loud, but the tone is more penetrating to the ear. Around 3K rpm, it has some serious drone. Thankfully, that is not a place you spend much time unless you cruise at 100mph.
- The actual sound is very appealing, though. I think it is loud but not obnoxious, befitting a sports car yet still refined. Again, it's hard to tell in the video, but there is a difference in tone that I think is an improvement.
Anyways, see video below. Let me know if you have other questions about it!
