Coming from the bimmer world, I've seen that the quality of the valvetronic stuff is trash now. I agree that any exhaust on a street car nowadays should have a valve though. The equal length mid pipe with a resonator/secondary cat delete and the stock valved muffler was perfect on the X3M. If...
They don't really turn down all that much. And yea like UWU said, in-person it looks more natural.
For me it reminds me of my 90s/00s JDM tuner car roots.
These are on an FK8 obviously but:
Looks like no valve, but they are making a version that's compliant with JDM market that may have one. They also offer a stainless version for the FL5 so maybe they'll offer that for De5 too. We'll see I guess.
Sounds good, I just wished more companies sold a dual-exit. I still do not love the triple-exit look.

I just ran into this issue as well, and the method of just removing the center console completely and flipping it over was the way to go.

It's crazy to me that a car as track-capable as the FL5 wouldn't have a direct oil temp sensor...
What are people using to monitor their oil temps on track or during hard driving?
I wish this De5 had a LogR type screen set up like the FL5 has to have gauges up on the center screen. There has to be a way to unlock that feature on the De5 since the hardware is the same between the two...
Ok that's helpful advice.
