Okay so Maybe I go from 20 to 40mph a little faster in second than I should because I have nice shift rhythm into third at 40MPH dropping throttle that makes a reproduceable rhythm of one Loud POP and three cute burble, burble, burbles...
Did that tonight downtown from a stop light to 40MPH.. (speed limit 35) As soon as I got my third gear shift pop burbles blue lights turned on 2 cars back and I was like REALLY!! To my Suprise they pulled over the car directly behind me so no ticket tonight and not sure why the car behind me got pulled.
this car is TOO much fun to NOT give it a little gas blimp here and there..
Curious if anyone has a ticket yet because I was thinking about it on the way home and it's not an if but a when will I get a ticket in this car.
:dunno:

Yeah its fun. But coming from higher HP cars...if you pick and choose your episodes of hooning you should be OK...At night is almost always a problem, hard to know were the feds are hiding ( or just driving a few cars back) and Bang you got got...stay safe youngster

I keep the radar detector on at all times, and only get well over speed limit with good long clear sight lines. I do like to goose it from 20 on up though. Still getting less than 20 mpg in this car, lol!

Always run a valentine one, Waze on longer trips. Haven’t had one yet in the ITS only little over 1900 miles.

Seems like radar is the theme... I run a Escort 360 Redline and Waze and have been fortunate. There have been a few times I could have gotten pinched but didn't. Knock on wood.

Never owned a radar detector since I don't have any priors. Knock on wood haven't gotten a ticket since 2018.

I was pulled over the day I got my Drob tune. The cop told me my car was sweet and to slow the F down. 😅

Pulled over once with an out of date temp tag. The cop said he loved the car and told me to get my tags. No ticket, yet... I have the white stealth version and am an older grey haired, grandfather, and who would suspect me of driving 50 or 60 over the speed limit.? I have a new Valentine One and use Waze on the road. Neither are perfect, but the combination is easily 90% accurate.
