So, before I go into the negatives, I want to say the tune is running well and is a huge improvement over stock. It basically makes the engine feel "bigger" overall. The area under the curve is really dramatic especially around 3-4k rpm. I am happy with the performance.
That out of the way, I am quite disappointed by what feels to me to be zero change to the rev hang (over-rev between WOT shifts, not a slow decline in revs). I was under the impression that the Hondata "race" rev hang delete completely addressed throttle plate hang between shifts. Instead, I'm still getting a rev bump between WOT upshifts that feels completely the same as stock. I'd venture it's about a 1.5k overrev if I shift at 6k, for example.
I confirmed with Phearable that they did build me a tune with the rev hang delete, so it was not an erroneous setting.
Anyone with tunes from other brands - is your experience the same as mine?
Thanks,
-Ash
