Cooled seats and gauges in the infotainment, that’s all I ask for.

You could get these in a 38k Mustang 8yrs aagoCooled seats and gauges in the infotainment, that’s all I ask for.
$38k in 2018 is > $50k today, and that's just general inflation, not automotive-specific (my understanding is car prices have outpaced inflation overall). You could get these in a 38k Mustang 8yrs aago
Agreed, $38k almost 10 years ago (most importantly, pre-COVID era) isn't a relevant contextual data point without adjusting for carflation. An equivalent comparison if you're referencing a Bullitt Mustang (assuming from context clues) is presumably a Dark Horse, which is an $80k car.$38k in 2018 is > $50k today, and that's just general inflation, not automotive-specific (my understanding is car prices have outpaced inflation overall).
I'm not saying we shouldn't be getting those features at this price point; I'm just adding some context.
I love my car, but the rattles... yeah. Annoying part for me is they're all on the passenger side so figuring out whats doing it is difficult. Here's a wild idea they could shoot for. Fix all the loose fitting parts that rattle.
The HUD is something I didn't know I even needed until I had it. Also, add oil temp to that.2027 model I would like to see:
A green Integra, I would trade in my blue 2024 ITS, otherwise hard sell.
- Hunter/dark green paint
- Front drivers memory seat
- Oil pressure gauge
The CTR needs a heads up display (HUD) and a rear wing delete before I would consider it over a ITS.
Eh, just had mine in for routine service a couple weeks ago and my dealer had several and regularly get stock. ITS is linked with CTR which just got refresh not Si, unlikely to go anywhere. Will likely stick around as long as its CTR counterpart.I think the ITS is done after 2027, maybe even 2026. Have people forgotten that the 11th gen civic is 5 years old now? We’re getting 12 gen hybrids real soon.
Dealers aren’t getting ITS regularly this year. Some dealers are saying you have to have them special order one.
The 2027 Civic SI was canceled. The Type R is not being sold in Europe. That’s all she wrote, folks.
Honda has already officially said they are updating the Type S this year. They also already unveiled the 2027 Type R and its updates. The Integra A-spec Manual and Civic Si were paused for emissions reasons. If that were to happen to the Type S it would have happened to the Type R too.I think the ITS is done after 2027, maybe even 2026. Have people forgotten that the 11th gen civic is 5 years old now? Might be a 1 year refresh. Like the 2020 civic Si got a refresh, then they didn’t make a 2021 and the 10th gen civic was done that year. Only the 2020 had honda sensing and the black wheels, which i thought made the 2019 highly desirable for enthusiasts who wanted none of that.Honda has already officially said they are updating the Type S this year. I wasn't expecting cooled seats, but now that the CTR has heated seats, it seems like a way to keep the two differentiated.Cooled/memory seats, blacked out interior bits (mainly the door handles I would like) and an OTA update to the infotainment to get gauges are what I am hoping for
I actually don’t understand why it doesn’t have the different gauge settings. Every honda with the same screen has it. Also,, Accords have had memory seats for over a decade. Those things could not have saved that much money.Cooled/memory seats, blacked out interior bits (mainly the door handles I would like) and an OTA update to the infotainment to get gauges are what I am hoping for
Yeah... but honestly my expectations are all but nonexistent. The FL5 changes are miniscule. I'm guessing some lights and minor interior tweaks- I can't imagine there would be anything substantial and worth upgrading to.Honda has already officially said they are updating the Type S this year.
