Anyone thinking of doing this please think twice. You are basically asking the cops to take your car. If you get pulled over there is zero chance they let you drive it home, because you just placed all the liability on them if you die in a crash.

I would also suggest OP remove these pics cuz your insurance company is going to drop you, and kiss your warranty bye bye.
Trust me Acura and all the major insurance companies troll these sites looking for prime beef like you.
Just ask all the Dodge owners who lost their warranties after posting timeslips from their local dragstrips.

I guess you didnt see the thread that was running on the forums a few years ago about the guy who had an Elantra N driving it around in track mode, and that beautiful state made him pay the dealership $5K to have ALL modes except Normal locked out of the ECU.

You sound like an alarmist, a conspiracy theorist, troll or maybe all three. I personally think aftermarket steering wheels are lame, but people are entitled to modify THEIR car to THEIR liking. OP is also a consenting adult, this is the choice they made so they can live with whatever consequence that may arise.

I don't think I've ever heard Cali described as nazi before, lol. Texas, Florida, even Kansas I've seen and heard, but not Cali... They're literally the opposite direction, super "left".

For anyone that doesn't know, "right wing" and "left wing" political affiliation terminology comes from the era of the Berlin wall. The left was the west/liberal/democratic regime and the right side of the wall was the east/conservative/nazi end. After the dissolution of the wall, we kept the terminology around the world to indicate democracy, liberalism, and progressive American ideology as "left" and the regressive, conservative ideology as "right".

So calling a far left state nazi is like calling Texas deeply liberal .


There is certainly some truth to insurance denying claims based on internet evidence. There is also truth to officers impounding vehicles they deem unsafe for the road... But given the number of rust buckets I've seen on US roads I don't believe any state takes vehicular fitness seriously.

Now if you get into a car accident where you get whiplash and a brain injury, it's highly likely insurance won't foot the bill (or may and then may sue you to get their money back). I've seen insurance refuse to pay when a person used an expired kid's carseat (their lifetime is 5yrs).
