Did U also do your s under the shifter too?!
The alcantara? No that was the Overland Designs piece. All the other alcantara was by Aaron Shin over at Sweidet. I lack the skills to do alcantara lol.

This one. Sorry
Oh yes, that was painted by a buddy using autobody paint (I don't remember the paint code), then I filled in the details with black and red enamel paint. One of my favorite pieces in the car!
Acura Integra What did you do to your Integra Type S today? 🙋🏻‍♂️ PSX_20251115_122713

I doubt anyone will ever lock up this engine from not having a baffle, but the high G turn oil pressure drops on track are likely contributing to accelerated wear under high engine load over time, either way there's no negative from adding the baffle. Yes, I am seeing oil pressure drops on track, moreso when I switched to Toyo RRs on track.
I've logged as low as 13psi on track with a potenza race tire, which has similar grip to toyo rr I've used previously. It's definitely within the range of concerning. I haven't seen any smokescreening from the pcv, but baffled pan is a must with any track work and stickier rubber. I'm going to either do the track attack pro or an R7 next year and those should push enough g to starve it even further.

I've got the same pan sitting and waiting for a weekend for me, as well as ball joints and a few other track safety things. This car should do okay in TT4 and should be at least regionally competitive.

My quest to remove as much chrome as I can from the interior continues. Painted the chrome pieces in the steering wheel controls. Super easy to do and I recommend it to anyone who doesn't mind a little bit of detail work.

Shit. 13psi is concerning. Would’ve been dope if we got some “ghetto baffling “ from the factory. Kinda like the nd2 and nd3 Miata’s.

would U happen to have ever logged the lowest pressure when on stock rubber?

when you logged the 13psi, would U happen to remember what were your g forces at the time?

I don’t track anymore due to the stuff with my legs and me being an asshole. But I do like hitting fun roads with friends every blue moon. A baffle set up might be in my future it seems. Would you have any recommendations? Any available that increase oil capacity a little?

thnx if U can answer.

Hey, I like stories
U know how the corvette people seem to get their way at every single freaking track? At high plains, there was an attempt to ban fwd cars from running any 200tw tires. Of course this immediately did not fly with the folks who run and maintain the track. Problem was I told a few of those corvette people who their mother was. And I tracked with a bunch of veterans (battle scarred veterans group)and there was almost an incident where corvette people were gonna have to shit their teeth out

it was a whole thing man. After that. I just decided never to go back

I haven't seen true baffled and finned pans for this platform, but most of the baffles are screw in or weld in options. They're CHEAP compared to other platforms where I've paid from 900 to 2500$ for a pan.

On stock rubber I got down to 17 psi a few times, but it was during a very hot day and when I was beating on the car with wide open free track and no time limit (private day) with the dealer 20w swill. I bet going to 40w will help tremendously when things get toasty.

I wouldn't be worried on the street. The areas where I saw drops were primarily on sweepers where the G was 1.1 sustained on stock ps4s and 1.2 sustained on the potenza race. The potenza can touch 1.4 or even 1.5G briefly and that's where I've seen the most drop (I look over at my accessport on every left turn track out). You won't feel that on the street unless you're really trying to get arrested.

It's always the corvette drivers. They're the most challenging students I have... Not sure what the combo is specifically, but they just tend to need the most attention and hand holding to get to 60% of their car's capability. Had one guy recently tell me he wanted to see me drive his car... Nope nope nope, I don't need him crying to our regional director I "pushed his car too hard" when I cook all of his oem fluids and pads 🤣.

I've said it before and I said it again... Only ONE manufacturer makes a car that's TRULY track ready out of the box... Porsche. Hate them or like them... They're unboxed and ready and the dealer not only won't yell at you for tracking it, but will probably thank you and give you extra business cards.
