Finally got around to installing my hybrid racing short throw shifter.. night and day difference!

I'm curious to see how this feels compared to the Acuity. I love my Acuity shifter, easily one of my favorite mods to date.

Installed tuxmats today and took out the OEM all weather mats. The clutch pedal hits the mat and made it feel weird so I cut it as such that it doesn't do that anymore. I made sure that there is zero catch to make sure it's safe. Anyone thinking about getting these "full coverage" floor mats, it's something to consider.
Really great call out. Thank you!

My oem all weather mats squeak at the left plastic lock when I shift, so I was looking at tux. Not sure which thing would annoy me more now, ๐Ÿ˜‚.

I still really like the tuxmats coverage. I'd buy them again. I cut it very cleanly with a blade and it still looks really good and is completely safe from any pedals catching.

I've run all 3 of the (full replacement) kits and the Acuity is overall smoother and lighter on engagement than the Hybrid Racing. This is not a pro or a con and we're also talking small increments. Of the 3 (full replacement) kits available, HR is the best all-rounder. KTuned is the most mechanical in terms of heft and engagement.

I tossed my winter wheels and tires back on today. Vredstein wintrac pro on apex ec7 18".

I cannot overstate how great of a performance tire this is for the cold! It behaves like a very good summer tire with lower limits and has a really great tendency to oversteer which makes it a blast to drive! I honestly have grown to prefer it over the oem dt1 ps4s because it's more comfortable and more exciting to drive on. It could be quiter and smoother, but you get what you get. Compared to other winters, notably the Michelin alpin range, this is a better tire. It's not a deep snow traction tire, but I never had issues on 4" of snow or some ice with it last year.

Also for anyone wondering, due to questions in another thread, I verified today that the oem wheels are Enkei flow formed wheels in their higher end MAT process. Very good wheels! Just poor paint quality.

I'm not sure about the prices now, but for the price of one of those knobs you could get a used HVAC unit with all 3 knobs intact from the HRV and 23+ Accord off of eBay.

Still a pricey proposition for aesthetics.
