Hahaha yeah it's pretty funny the cars that park there. It's actually a place we park when we are getting Korean food across the street. They have shared parking.

Today I have installed the PRL motor mount and I'm halfway through installing some H&R springs. Rears are done and were easy. Fronts are gonna be a bit harder, from what I've seen in DIY tutorials. Wish me luck!

3/4 done lol. Front left strut out but the front right is a bit more whiney. Taking a hydration break bc gawtdayum it's a tough job to do solo!

Here’s a video from @notorious9i6 showing the comparison.

That didn't really help. Just seems like it's bigger/taller, but I can't tell from that video if it's as far forward as the gloss black or if it's starting further back like oem carbon.

It does tell me the oem has the rubber core and that one doesn't, so I assume it would be lighter but not cut down on vibration as much.

Is it just me that hates YouTube plugs? I feel like videos spend a lot of time saying little while a picture "says a thousand words".

I've been meaning to post a few pics on my progress/projects in the 3 months of owning my 2025 ITS - here is a bunch I've done so far..

#1) Interior lighting swap from white to red LEDs (door panels, foot wells, center console) - Red LED part # 34750-T20-R01 (note: you need to buy 7)

#2) Alcantara console from Overland Designs & Shift Knob. I 'highly' recommend the Alcantara console change; it really goes well with the shift boot and takes like 20min of effort to install (easy mod).. Very pleased with the look & quality!

#3) SiriMoto Front Strut bar, PRL Motorsports HVI, & SiriMoto Baysavers-(just for fun).
The PRL HVI made such a sound improvement in hearing the turbo spool! Well worth the investment (not too tough to install either - just watched a few Youtube videos)

#4) FItcamx 4K Dash Camera install - super easy install and perfectly integrates with existing mirror setup etc; maybe 30-45 min install and literally plug and play. Not very expensive either.

#5 Blacked out headlight side markers - this is not some vinyl cover - I took my car to Evil Headlights in Riverside, CA and Francisco did an awesome job painting them matte black. The change is subtle but it really adds a nice touch to the front.

#6) RGB/W DRL modification - In the same trip as the matte black painted side markers - I had Evil Headlights do this fun modification. Yes, it is over the top but I can literally swap any color of DRL via BT with my phone (or keep them the stock white color). Francisco took apart my headlights and swapped out the white only LED modules to Diode Dynamics RGBW modules. There was no change to the turn signal LED or headlights - just the DRL modules. He did an excellent job and the headlights are completely sealed-up as if factory.. Can do static colors or any combo of slow or fast fade between colors. I only drive with White or Yellow/orange as I don't want a ticket :-D

Anyway, sorry for the blast of pics - just happy with the additions to my ITS and I really love this car.. So happy with it!

How common is the coolant res tank leak on our cars? Is this mod a must do because they all crack?

Some report them cracking…mine has not. I only have 9800 miles on my Type-S. For me, I hate the opaqueness of the OEM tank. You can’t see how much coolant is in the reservoir. Most if not all aftermarket tanks have sight glass to see the coolant levels.

10k miles and 30+ track sessions at 20-30 mins each. No crack or issues so far.

Don't think it will look shady... It'll just leak. Possibly at the worst time possible.
