Posted my thoughts on the Invidia Q300 in the install thread, but overall very happy with it.

Also been waiting on this custom shift knob from Lathewerks, finally got it and installed. There really isn't any comparison with anything else on the market. Well worth the cost and the wait.

How are you feeling about the size/weight?

It's interesting because I remember feeling like the OEM titanium knob made a significant difference when I swapped out to it a year and a half ago, but this one made as much of a difference or more again. It feels great! When I first took it out of the box I was kind of shocked at how heavy it was, but the crazy part is that the titanium knob is not much lighter! But the dimensions make a difference too... this one feels just right. I thought the titanium and OEM dimensions were a good fit for this car, but having a properly sized shift knob again and I don't know wtf I was thinking. It's great, looks better than expected, overall super happy with it. And I have you to thank for it!

LOL, don't thank me, thank Chris!

I really like the sizing as well. It feels more "fitted" in the palm. As a bonus, I've noticed the finish on the LW knob is more durable than the oem ti, so my wedding band isn't scratching it up!

Look for options for the Civic, the one I picked was the OEM Ti Plus. There are tons of different individual options on how you can configure it- for example for mine I selected bronzed titanium for the knob itself but blued titanium for the inner ring- but just know that it is entirely custom made by hand and is in high demand, so set your expectations accordingly for delivery.

Had vehicle go in for service, around 14300 miles. Did they inspection and the rear pads are needing to be changed.
While waiting, walked to all the near by dealerships and it kinda reinforced that the ITS is the best car for like 50k. Toyota only had auto gr86, BMW didnt have any manual M-cars or anything under 100k. Acura didnt have a single type-S in any model though. So in a sea of boring heavy automatic cars this is like the last hold out.

Got some Jogon Carbon bits for the interior. I hadn’t ever seen the red console, so I had to get it for a pop of color on the interior. Everything fit great, but I’m a little disappointed with the lower steering wheel trim piece, I wish it wrapped around more…you can still see a lot of the gray plastic (and yes, it’s tight on there and fit properly, it just doesn’t have full coverage).

I wasn’t sure at first, but I’m liking the contrast of the glossy red with the matte black shifter cover.
