I would assume Cobb / Hondata, which are both tightly restricted ecosystems, have avoided tampering with this. Maybe Ktuner will eventually offer an 11th gen solution (my understanding is their environment for the 10th gen was much less controlled). You could also pursue an M1I'm sorry to read your report on the continuing Over-Rev behavior after BOV install.
A friend recently inquired (at my request) with his track buddy network and received a response from "?Honda People?" indicating their feeling that Tuners might not be addressing this problem, fearing problems with government EPA regulations. Their feeling was the over-rev and/or rev-hang was integral to Honda's emission strategy and could possibly result in legal action / fines if messed with.
I have no idea the quality of his source, nor the likelihood of it even being true. Especially surprising are the number of forum contributors who report no such issue with their cars. Mine is quite obvious - not something even a casual driver would miss in the right circumstances.
Not in your head. Keeping exhaust warm keeps the gas moving. It's still nowhere near an NA or supercharged engine, but it does improve a lot. Especially as things heat soak and you're in the higher torque range.Don't know if it's in my head, but lag feels reduced too.
Custom tune can also change whatever/however you want with the flap in whatever drive mode as well. It's adjustable based on throttle load and rpmOh, and I did the fuse removal mod on the exhaust flap and there's really no drone. It sounds better this way to me! Other than not loving the triple tips, I don't have a desire for an aftermarket exhaust.
