Sharing my not-so-good experience with Radium. It started leaking from the middle about 9 months after it was installed. I knew it was risky to go with two parts tank, but I really liked the look. I contacted Radium and shared photos. Will keep the forum posted on what they reply.

Saw the Radium booth at the LB Grand Prix in '24. I asked them if they had ideas to handle the leaky paperish gasket.

I got a snooty attitude response from one rep, saying they have had no leaks.
So it seems when they sh!t.... it smells too.

I am watching my radium for leaks.

An update:
- I contacted Radium support.
- They offered to send me a new gasket, rubber gasket and socket bolts.
- The only offer 12 months warranty.
- I can't tell for sure if it was my fault with installing it incorrectly, or it's a product / design issue. Some people reported leaks, others don't have leaks. It feels like good luck or bad luck. So far it's the only after market part that I have issues (and I have over 20 mods).

I need to decide if I am going to reinstall everything, or maybe sell it (with new parts) and get PRL or Mishimoto expansion tank instead.

Hey all. As the original poster of this thread I keep getting alerts whenever someone new posts. Can't believe this is at 6 pages now with 77 posts. Just want to update everyone that I am somewhat back in the platform... this time by way of FL5. I'm back making content on YouTube and I also formed my own auto repair business for anyone in the DC/MD/VA looking for custom installs on their DE5's.

A lot of those DIY videos will transfer over to the DE5.. so..

enjoy and cheers.

Wanted to ask here what would you do in my situation?

1. Wait for the new parts from Radium, remove, take everything apart, and reinstall.

2. Sell the Radium tank with new parts (maybe someone else has better skills to install it), and buy 27Won coolant tank.

3. Sell the Radium tank with new parts (maybe someone else has better skills to install it), and buy Mishimoto coolant tank.

Appreciate your thoughts!
