Filling up at half a tank. About 5-6 gallons.

way too much for 91 octane. Fucking orange mf

trying to stop a nuke that didn’t exist. Trying to open a strait that wasn’t mf closed.

That orange bitch can suck a dick. At least when bush sent my bitch ass to the Middle East for fucking 34 months, he only seemed 50% incompetent. This orange mf has turned the entirety of the US navy into Israel’s dogs

What’s gas mileage like on the a spec?

im netting about 22-24ish mpg city and about 25mpg hwy on the type s

my son has a 10 gen si. He’s doing way better than me LOL
Over the NE winter I was getting on average about 28-39 mpg but since the weather broke, I’ve been getting anywhere from 32 while getting on it for my hour commute to 35-40 if I granny shift and make it an hour and fifteen minutes or so.
The car seems to enjoy my driving of it spiritedly more than I had thought; lots of 2nd or 3rd gear pulls around town, etc.

Despite the lower mpgs, that bump in HP is surely worth it in the S 😎🤙

If you can afford a Type S then should gasoline cost even be a concern? The cost of gasoline over the decades is probably way below typical inflation percentages, you should be angry with insurance companies and what they are charging you.

It's not a zero sum game; both can be true at the same time.

Prices going up for what some believe is an unnecessary reason is still a valid concern. Plenty here can afford a lot, but it's not like we love paying more for things.

I think that’s fair. Tho I also think gas being damn near like 6-7$ a gallon (premium) is something maybe a lot of folks haven’t budgeted for.

I only drive like 100-300 miles a month. So I’m good. But I can see how current prices can sting folks.

In upstate NY, depending on the gas station, I can get either 91, 93 or 94 octane gas, all over $5 a gallon. Just went to Maine last weekend and got a couple of tanks over 40mpg, much better than my old Subaru, I’d be lucky to get over 33 mpg on the highway. The ironic thing is that out of all the cars at my house, my A-Spec, my wife’s RAV4 Hybrid and my Miata, is that the Miata gets the worse gas mileage of them all. Such is the price of fun.

On the Aspec CVT I get 29 around town, 36+ hwy. I mostly only drive 14 miles/day for work, though. Maybe 250 miles/month.

I'm on 93, phearable 1.5r, auto start/stop disabled

Because of my commute, once the range gets below 100 miles I start planning my fuel stop. I go as low as 29 miles of range left before filling up again.

My last fill up was 9.278 gallons at $5.4999 for 93, and it cost me $51.02.

This is central MA pricing as of 5/12/2026

My 2025 ITS has 10,600 miles on it and I've never reset my trip to keep track of my mpg in the cluster for the life of the vehicle. I am currently averaging 27.9MPG over the 10k miles. Pretty good in my honest opinion.
